I couldn’t figure out why this didn’t work on my old tub. The new plunger is about an 1/8 of an inch thicker than my old plunger. I swapped them and it worked like a charm. It was the linkage that I needed anyway.

Used to replace a >20 year-old fixture - looks and functions nice, but the screws girth didn't match so I had to use the old screws. Still happy with purchase - good value.

Eye hooks would easily slip apart inside pipe when trying to install - original assembly has better design used NOTHING. From this kit - went with different BLUE VUE face plate and OG assembly much better than this
