Note:
1. Turn off the water to the valve before proceeding.
2. When replacing the seat, please take extra care to make sure the seat removal tool is engaged into the notches of the seat in order to prevent stripping of the notches.
3. Clean debris from pipes before installation.
4. Please note that the included seat removal tool (T-35A/B) is a 4 point wrench (square bar) for the old version seat. You can check which type of seat removal tool you need, and if it is a new version seat, you will need the hex wrench (T35C), which you will need to order separately.

Excellent product. Fit perfectly. Easiest valve change ever. Great purchase if you don’t have the special tool to remove pieces. Would be even better if it had a small tube of grease with the kit.

Don't bother the tools for the seats are soft and turn over like butter and you can't get the old seats out and the valve doesn't work properly with the shower diverter the water still comes out of the tub spout wasting water

It LOOKS like it should work fine, but they don't seal in place and so water just pours out. Also, both the brass and the installation tool are softer than they should be I partially stripped one of the pieces trying to install it. In the end I took off all the seals, cleaned up the old unit and put the new seals on the old brass. It "sort of" works. This kit doesn't include the packing seal which is really needed in my case. so when the valve is open, water spurts out of the handle.The two stars are there because in the end, the seals are the right size, so I could partially fix the unit.

Product is great, saves tons of time coming in a kit. Just take care to remove the original parts with the removal tools, they strip easy.

Messed around with this for an hour before I ran to the local home improvement store and grabbed a genuine Symmons stem. Once I had a genuine part it was done in five minutes. Would not buy again. Sometimes the cheap option works out to be more expensive and this one was that time for me.

Removal of the old valve assembly and installation of the new valve assembly was easy with the supplied manual tools. Performance of the new assembly was flawless. No problems with temperature control and the drip, drip leak problem is solved. My only complaint was the new assembly had some small sharp places that I noticed when I was greasing the o - rings.This was the only thing that prevented a 5 star rating.
