Poorly manufactured. Don't recommended

I don't understand the design versions with protruding rubber bumps, but the flat one is good. The adhesive unfortunately isn't strong enough to keep this guard wrapped around my frame tube, so I had to zip tie it on but not the chain hits the zip ties instead of the rubber. Seems like for $12 I could have just zip tied any random piece of plastic on there from my recycle bin.

Great looking protector, especially on rugged bikes like fat and mountain bikes. Offers a good bit of protection. But could use a better glue strip. I had a tough time getting it to stick despite cleaning the frame thoroughly with rubbing alcohol (91%) several times over prior to application.

Works well to quiet down the chain slap! I hate having a noisy bike and this did a great job of cutting down on the chain noise.

I got this to replace my old Lizard Skin neoprene guard as it was starting to look beat. This chainstay guard looks much more stylish on my titanium frameset. The material seems top notch and it went on without issue. During a 100k mt bike ride that lasted seven hours I did't hear a single clank of my chain and stay. After the ride I was washing my bike and could see that the chain did in fact come into contact during rougher sections but no noise or damage done. The adhesive is also holding tight so overall I'm happy with this product for now.

I dont know why I haven't had one of these silicone slap guards installed sooner....it's great and eliminated and silenced the chain on my Giant Talon 29er. Super lightweight, durable, and a simple 1 minute install later my ears (and bike frame) were blessed with softness and silence. I can't believe I went this long without it!For those that decide to get one, be sure to clean the area first and use 3-5 zip ties or Velcro loops to go around it overnight and that will aid in the adhesion to your frame. I used Velcro loops and now it's stuck on my bike for good! I go thru quite a bit of gadgets, gear, mech etc etc and this item is by far the best item I've added this year and I've rebuilt 3 bikes and I'm on my 4th....
