I love the extra long handle and the old school wire style. Works perfectly.

So I was looking for some good cheap replacement flyswatters to replace a few that had broken down over time. I saw this ad and it said sturdy, showed 4 flyswatters in the picture but in the item specs it says 12 pieces so of course I was expecting 12 flyswatters for around the $10 bucks I paid. I got 4 but I guess I should be happy as when I came here to confirm my order I saw others saying they only got 1. 1 for that much money, it had better be the best flyswatter ever. Flies should be lining up for the honor of dying by that flyswatter. Then I read the description and it says for 1 flyswatter even though the specs say 12. Very misleading. Not sure of the quality yet but a couple things I wasn't happy about. 2 of the flyswatters had bent wire handles. I had to straighten them out which is no big deal but worse is their big brand label doesn't peel off the plastic very easily. It shreds and basically just comes off in little tiny pieces. If you must put a label, tie it to a piece of string or put the label around the wire. Yeah I could get some goo be gone and wipe it off but I shouldn't have too. Be a better company.I probably wouldn't recommend it.

Good Assortment of Fly Swatters however handle is very flimsy and sadly two fly swat flaps have had pieces break off. The others are still holding up with the exception of handle. Affordable Price. Prompt Delivery!

Perhaps they changed manufacturers sometime after 2016 since their earlier reviews are all five stars ... now they average about one star since 2017. Yes, it is made very cheaply with a very weak wire handle and far too flexible plastic swatter. And this was the price for just ONE ... most of the offers here are for 3-6 swatters with an average price of about $2-3/flyswatter. So, with this product you will pay twice the price for still a very cheaply made flyswatter ... I'd pass if I were you!

I'd guess the concept of the fly swatter has been around for a few thousand years, since the first of our forebears squashed a hornet with his sandal. The underlying engineering is pretty simple: get a stick with some length to give you leverage and speed; put something at the end to squash the insect in question; give it a whack. How can you screw that up?Well, it turns out, in several ways. This flyswatter has a strong handle but a flabby tip. So when you swat, the tip bends flabbily back and you give the offending insect sort of a back massage instead of the death shot. Tonight, for example, I tried to push an invading beetle -- noisy but harmless -- out the screen door with this swatter. Not even stiff enough to move one little beetle. Now, in truth, this swatter out-performs the plastic-handled plastic-tipped flyswatters for sale on Amazon. I bought a bunch of those. But they have both tips and handles that bend. Stick to fruit flies with those babies. Yellow jackets get pretty upset with a near miss. And a near miss is what this swatter will usually deliver.I'm still looking and, I guess, will be traveling up the price chain. So I'm back to using my flip-flop or a kitchen towel. And wondering how the digital age lost track of something as simple as a fly swatter.

I've had this here swatter for about a month now and many a fly has now perished at the plastic, business end of this bad boy! And I not only get to exterminate these filth-ridden creatures in a single-swat (I'm still batting 1.000!), but I get to do it with the nostalgic look and feel of the wire handle. Takes me back to hot, sweaty summers in North Carolina and watching my grand-pappy kill flies. Well worth the money!

What a great Idea!Product did not ship with any instructions. But after some research and a few instructional videos on youtube i was able to figure it out.1) grip wire handle (opposite end from plastic swatter).2) approach fly carefully.3) swing plastic swatter rapidly toward location of fly.4) allow plastic swatter head to impact fly with tremendous pressure.5) check plastic swatter head for impacted fly. (if no fly was impacted return to step 2)6) scrape remains on bottom of shoe.

I am so pleased with this Willert Home Prod. R37 Fly Swatter. (To be referred to as WHPR37FS) This is by far the superior swatter. The grids are aligned perfectly. I still remember the days when I had a subpar swatter. I would swat at some pesty little bug only to be disappointed that he was uninjured after being swatted. Inferior swatters have the plastic grids designed to far apart where the bugs can slip through without injury. Not the WHPR37FS. It has it all. Perfection is the only word that sums it up.
