I bought these to use as handrail stanchions for a 7.5" gauge railroad tank car. Threads started easily with the nuts. They worked great and look like they belong. I would not use them for heavy lifting but they are nice to run light rope or cable for non-critical weight load applications. I'd buy them again because they worked well.

I used these in a 3D printed rocket nosecone and they worked great. I used an M3 insert in the 3D print, set a bit of epoxy on the end of the eyebolt, screwed it in, and it was solid as heck. Great eyebolt. Using on 1" up to 2.6" diameter rockets.

I don't know why the bolt is sold as M3 and even labeled as M3 but this is not true at all. I have many M3 bolts and the threads on these or noticeably larger. This is very frustrating as my project requires M3 bolts.

The attached photo shows an M3 thread bolt. The eyebolts are not M3 as the description says.

One of the bolts was missing threads entirely. Looks like it was never tapped. I can tap it myself, so no need to return, but it is a little annoying.I haven't yet tried putting these under load. When threaded on an M3 nut, the nut feels rather loose. I'm hoping that it holds up under load. Will update comment after I give it a try.
