  • Battery must be connected first ! Never connect soalr panel array to controller Without/Before connect battery.
  • DO NOT connect any inverter/wind/Alternator or Charger into the charge controller directly ! You should connect with battery and add fuse .
  • If there is a long distance between the PV array and controller or between the controller and battery, larger size wires should be used to reduce the voltage drop and improve performance. (Recommended wire size is only for reference.)

Don’t know how good the controller is, but the WiFi connection doesn’t work. I spent two weeks after hours to try to connect this crap. I downloaded and erased several different apps hoping I don’t know what I am doing. But this crap it’s not working!Local connection yes. Put it on the cloud with remote access no way!One star because you can’t give 0!

This is a very nice and quality controller. It does come with the remote readout unit, but the extension wires are too short for my use. I wanted to locate the remote readout unit in the other room, but the wires wouldn't go that far, so I had to locate it not too far from the controller itself.There are so many to choose from, but I recommend this unit.

I have used 2 of these on different systems. Seems to be a lot more stable that a Renogy. Very straight forward to install. Make sure you always connect solar last and disconnect solar first if servicing.

Great product used it for basic solar for boondocking, everything works well, getting more out of my panels with a proper mppt vs the pwm that came with the foldout panels. I used 4 awg flexible welder wiring to hook up the batteries directly. As well as the panels, will try 6 awg 8awg and 10 awg wiring to see what works best over this summer. Super happy currently charging my batteries at 13.3v 4amp on a high thin cloudy day. Most excellent.

Best value for the money!As I replaced the old controller I had to installed in the same place where previous was installed, that's the reason the remote MT50 is on the same panel.Love it and highly recommend.PSThe meter shown was installed prior and keep it there.

I bought the 20 amp model, hooked up to 2 - 100 watt panels and 2 - 100ah, 12 volt batteries to run the 12 volt system on my off grid camper, and has worked flawlessly for the past 2 months. So far so good.

This was as well as could be expected for cheap Chinese manufacturing. A little cryptic on how to set up battery type and when the load is to be on or off. Overall, it worked well for deep cycle lead acid flood batteries in parallel at 12V with four 100W panels in series for 80V.
