This is a Les Paul Classic. Period. Getting it from Epiphone just means you're paying one third to one fourth the price. You get all the goodies - Grover tuners, zebra humbuckers, push/pull pots for splitting the coils and inverting the phase, a great finish, and the sound is awesome. About the only missing feature is the push/pull pot for direct bridge output. Oh well. For $600, I'm not going to complain. One word of warning - this is a heavy guitar. If you don't like a heavy guitar, this might not be the guitar for you.

Sonst alles Top.

I already own an Epiphone Rivera and that plays great. I also have a cheaper version of a Les Paul, but this is really sweet. Coming out of the factory there is always something, but this is flawless. Intonation is spot on at 12 and 17 frets. Is it for a beginner, possibly not imho. Intermediate yes, pro, yes, not sure a beginner would benefit from this. But if you have the funding, but it. You won't regret it.

This is my new favorite guitar! It's easy to play, the sound is crisp, the style is amazing, and it's perfect for the stage or just the home studio.

Great Epiphone guitar owned by Gibson sense 1957 , Les Paul classic heritage cherry burst, only one negative It did not come with Grover Rotomatic machine heads. It came with Wilkerson machine heads see head stock photo . I talked with Gibson customer service and they said in the fine print they have the right to change things . So AmaZon should change the advertising on this page . I got a great deal on this , would buy it again yes I would .. This guitar was not tuned or set up I had to do that myself but that's to be exspected this comes from a ware house not a guitar store . Overt all value worth what I paid .

Love the form factor on this guitar. It's comfortable in the lab. Easy to wrap your arms around and play. But if you're sitting down. You might want to think about where you have to plug it in on the guitars body. It's a little heavy, but I like that. It feels solid. The black looks really classy. Especially with its white pickguard.Love how light reflects off of its curved body.

One of the biggest reasons why I decided this will be my first electric guitar is that Slash uses the Gibson Les Paul as his “Go To” guitar. This guitar is Gibson’s affordable prospect of that model of guitar. I did a lot of research and this guitar will reach a wide variety of sounds and it’s a nice heavy, quality guitar. The weight just feels like money and with a higher weight you will get a very nice clean sound. This looks great in my hands and I can’t wait to play it. I recently ordered a Boss Katana 2 amplifier and a good Mogami cable for it as well. I am very happy with this purchase ! I’m glad I got it while it was the last one available !
