  • EPSOM SALTS: SU-PER Epsom Salts has been used by horsemen for generations as an aid in the temporary relief of minor soreness and in drawing out swelling.
  • HISTORICAL USE: Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulfate) have been used since the 17th century to soothe sore muscles and help draw out inflammation and toxins. Epsom salt is a staple in tack rooms around the world.
  • APPLICATION: It’s most often used in soaks to help with muscle and nerve function, especially after exercise or competition. Epsom salts can help manage inflammation caused by overexertion.
  • ALTERNATIVE USE: In addition to using directly in a soak, you can soak cold water bandages in an epsom salts solution for use when soaking isn’t an option.
  • MULTI-BENEFITS: SU-PER Epsom Salts may also be used as a thick paste to place on bug bites or hoof abscesses (just add a bit of water), or in poultices to increase the drawing ability.


An aid in the temporary relief of minor soreness and in drawing out swelling. May be used for wet dressing as a soak solution, and in poultices on horses legs and feet. To use, dissolve 2 cups per gallon of water.
