The brim is ok as long as there is no wind. I had to dismount and chase it down the first time I used it. It is lightweight and doesn’t hold shape. I am disappointed for the quality and the price.

Really love this sun brim. It fits snugly over my English helmet and really makes riding in the hot sun more comfortable!

After many years of riding in the sun belt I have the basal cell damage to prove it. I bought this because the Cashel one is garbage. This one is a bit heavier but it's worth it. It has little gummie grippers that really keep it on your helmet in the wind. To make sure they stick I dampen my helmet a bit. The other day it was quite windy and instead of blowing off the wind picked my helmet right up. I tighten the chin strap.Overall; good sun protection, stays on, a bit heavy but not bad.

I bought this for a four-day riding trip. It is not bendable, but I managed to put it flat in my luggage. The first day I put it on my helmet it worked well to keep light rain off my face, but it came off and disappeared about two hours into the ride. I think a tree branch caught it, but I didn’t feel it come off at all. I thought it was kinda expensive, and having only worn it for such a short time I was quite disappointed. It has some rubbery stuff inside the part that touches the helmet, and it has elastic as well, but it still slid off too easily. Too bad there is no way to clip it onto the helmet straps. I’d buy it again if I was riding in an arena, but I think that for trail riding it’s not secure enough.

I like the helmet cover, it stays put even in wind. The brim is too small to shade face, I bought this as lower price point than others and will keep it, but brim is too short to keep sun off my face which is what I was hoping for, so next season may replace it with bigger brim

Love - stability, ease of putting it on my helmet, shade & protection provided, appearanceDon't love - the weight. I am a helmet aficionado (produced Every Time...Every Ride.... helmet video) and never ride without one but need the side protection from sun - recent skin cancer- that helmets do not provide. I purchased this one and began using it while working with my BLM mustang. Hours of keeping my head tipped down and holding still in the wind left my neck and shoulders hurting. If you ride shorter periods and look up as you should when riding, this would be fine. Perhaps if you are a bit younger, I am retired, it may be fine, but for me, this does not seem suitable for hours of trail riding due to its additional weight and the 'pull' it causes in the wind.

I’ve had this for about 6 weeks and love it. I use it during my twice weekly riding lessons because my face was sweating so much and I want to protect my skin. It’s big enough to actually shade all your face and neck but it’s really not intrusive while riding. It fits snugly and doesn’t move around and it’s easy to put on. I guess it supposed to go over your helmet? That’s how I wear it. It didn’t come with instructions or a photo or anything. And I’m new to horses. My instructor seemed to think it was fine that way. lol. Anyway highly recommend and tons of riders at the barn have asked me about where to get one!
