Ich habe mir den Ergon Fahrradsattel für meine längeren Mountainbike Touren gekauft. Schon beim ersten Aufsitzen merkt man den Unterschied zu anderen Sätteln. Der Komfort ist unschlagbar, vor allem dank der speziellen Polsterung und der ergonomischen Form, die genau auf die männliche Anatomie abgestimmt ist. Selbst nach mehreren Stunden im Sattel hatte ich keine Beschwerden, kein Taubheitsgefühl, keine Schmerzen.Besonders loben möchte ich auch die hochwertige Verarbeitung. Der Sattel fühlt sich sehr robust an und macht einen langlebigen Eindruck. Auch optisch passt er perfekt zu meinem Rad und verleiht ihm einen sportlichen Look.Wer häufig und lange auf dem Rad unterwegs ist, sollte definitiv in den Ergon Sattel investieren. Es lohnt sich!

I damaged my saddle during a crash. It is the Bontrager saddle that came with the Trek supercaliber. This saddle is the same size and shape as the one it replaces. Padding feels a bit softer, has a little more give.Update: completed the Iceman race in November and during the race could definitely feel the saddle give a little, giving me a softer ride. Very pleased with the saddle after 100+ miles on the MTB.

I’ve been riding bicycles for seventy years. Over that time I have enough on marginally acceptable saddles that if saved would have allowed me to buy a bigger house. This saddle is so good that I purchased two extras to make sure that when I need a replacement I have it on hand. I’m currently using this saddle on my LightSpeed titanium frame up build, my Specialized Levo SL, Specialized Camber, and my Gary Fisher Mt Tam. Finally a saddle that is strangely comfortable and efficient. I just hope they continue to build and sell this model. If you’re looking for a saddle give one a try. If it doesn’t work for you as it does for me send it back and get a refund.

Turns out I should have shopped for new saddles earlier. This one feels amazing. That numbness from riding 2-3 days in a row after not riding a few weeks...gone. I did notice it is a bit wider so I have felt it on inner legs when going downhill (dropper down). I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it is the only negative I could call out.

It took me a few rides to get this adjusted properly, but then I took a 60 km MTB ride with 1,250 meters of elevation gain with NO pain and NO numbness! Wonderful! My only concern is that, because my sit bone measurement falls on the border between the s/m and m/l sizes, that the m/l i bought might be a bit too big for me - but no way to know without buying the smaller size, which I am not about to do. Overall a great improvement for my MTB. I am very satisfied.

A bit on the expensive side, but I guess you get what you pay for.Love the look and quality.No bicycle seat is truly comfortable, but this one is perfect for a few hours and doesn’t kill you on all day, long rides.

I bought the Small/Medium first after measuring my sit bones (do a search for sit bones and paper towel and you’ll find a good technique). Regardless, it just didn’t feel good. So I ordered the larger size. That helped. The first few rides I felt like the seat relieved a lot of pressure in certain areas. It wasn’t what I’d call super comfortable, but I found myself preferring it over other seats I had. It just has this flat profile that feels unobtrusive. Definitely something to the shape that works for me. The more I ride on it, the more comfortable it seems to be, so I’m keeping it, although do I wish I had bought a model with more padding. Construction is great and it looks good too.

Amazing saddle, I used to suffer badly after a long ride on the trails, even with top end padded shorts. After a full, brutal day at BikePark Wales, where everything hurts, my backside finally isn’t one of them! To the extent that I didn’t think about it all day.It’s weird as it doesn’t strike you as comfy when you get on, but you get used to it instantly and there is zero discomfort.If you have the chance to get your hands on one, do it! As they are currently hard to come by, You won’t regret it!
