Bereichert unseren Garten perfekt! Steht bei uns auf einer Holzstehle mit passender Platte und ja, sie tut auch ihre Dienste genau wenn man sie entsprechend einstellt (dazu einfach mal im Netz belesen!). Bislang ist auch an der Qualität nichts zu bemängeln! Steht seit dem Kauf draußen und ist einfach nur hübsch anzuschauen! Gewohnte sehr gute Esschert-Qualität!

Bellissima, davvero resistente e pratica da spostare poichè il suo peso non è eccessivo. Di certo non è un elemento da adoperare come soprammobile se non si ha il dovuto spazio. Attenzione a posizionarlo in un luogo lontano da bambini ed animali poichè la punta potrebbe essere pericolosa nonostante sia in parte arrotondata.

I love it! Nice heavy cast that won't blow over in wind, nice patina, easy assembly. Note, it is not for accurate timekeeping, you'd have to pay a lot more for one to be that.

I brought this sundial to make a garden feature in my contemporary garden!!! The sundial arrived quickly and was well packed, assembly instructions were included but they were hard to read due to the ink on the photocopy being quite faint. However, the sundial was easy to put together!!! Its a lovely ornate, quality piece and a decent size and price too!!! I absolutely, love it!!! However, I didn't like the bronzed/rusty colour though. So, I've actually painted it with Hammerite (Hammered Silver) and the Arrow is painted in Hammered Gold. It took ages painting it because I wanted to do the sundial justice, as it's such a lovely piece. I'm well happy now, the details on the sundial really stand out, which I didn't really notice when it was in it's original state!!! Just wish I knew how to upload a photo to show you!!! Haven't checked if the time works yet but will keep you posted!!!

This is a poor quality product, of course made in China. Although this piece is "decorative", sundials are very simple devices and have been in existence for at least 3,500 years. This product has a fundamental design flaw with the dial (circular face with the hour numbers); the shadow cast by the gnomen (the arrow), does not fall on the face, rendering it useless. The face should be parallel to the gnomen to catch the shadow, not perpendicular to it. The product also lacks instructions on how to site the dial, e.g. the gnomen should face north and its angle set to the latitude of your town so that the shadow casts properly on the dial. Then you can twist the dial to set it to the correct time.

...that can be had on Amazon for a small price. The assembly is fairly easy and the quality is good. The sundial looks perfect on top of the golden cedar mulch in my garden. But it must be oriented true North to get good sundial results.
