This was my second purchase after I thought I'd found a good bag. This one has nice round handles that feel comfortable. The bag isn't super big, which is good. Though the laptop sleeve can't fit my 17.5 laptop, the main pocket can (but I don't really us it for that). The leather is sturdy and it stands up on its own. The strap and zippers are neat. One of the zippers in the back gets stuck every now and then, but it's not a deal breaker. I usually don't write reviews, but this bag is THE bag if you want a budget friendly leather briefcase that looks and feels fantastic when lugging it around. The shoulder strap is a bonus.

Tried out some similar price range bags and this one is one I’ll be returning. I was hoping to use it as my everyday bag and it’s definitely decent. I have 3 main issues with it- two are just aesthetic and one is functional.First, the bag is black and the lining is brown. Weird combination but no one cares about the lining. But this means loose threads that stick out (again, it’s a cheaper bag so that might happen) are brown and look very odd.Second, it’s a bit too floppy. Again, not a bad thing, just not what I’m looking for. When I put my laptop in it, the top of the bag with the zipper folds upward because it is basically a rectangular prism. Since the material is soft and has no structure, the top folds and looks kind of dumpy.The main reason I’m returning this bag is the zippers. They’re pretty cheap. The little half accordion pocket on the back of the bag, and the main compartment, both get stuck any time I’ve tried to open them. I worry that opening the pockets all the way will get them stuck- or that they’ll break easily.It’s a shame because it’s a nice bag otherwise. The strap and fasteners seem sturdy. It’s nice and soft material. It’s roomy enough to hold my 16” laptop and several other things. I’d buy it again if the zipper was upgraded!

Updated review: the update is that I couldn’t even choose whether or not the plastic leather was alright because it arrived with a broken zipper and won’t open. But yes, the Nylon black body exterior is far from leather… it looks, feels, and smells like plastic. (End of updated review. See below for original.) PU leather isn’t leather. Nylon isn’t leather. Have not received yet but really wishing I hadn’t ordered a “leather briefcase” only to see that the leather type is “vegan”. Plastic isn’t vegan leather, it’s plastic. Sucks.

I do not believe the pictures do justice on the quality and purpose of this briefcase. There was no odor, the material was soft and there is plenty of storage space in here. Great buy for the price and made a much needed and appreciated Christmas gift!

For the price, this is an excellent work bag. My daily carry includes a 15 in laptop, a padfolio, a small notebook, and a tech kit in a 8 inch pouch. This fits all of those things with room to spare. The internal organization is great, and I’ve completely replaced my backpack for my EDC to the office. The small external zip pocket on the back of the bag is perfect for my office keys.So far, after about 6 months of use I’ve had no major durability concerns. I did get a small scratch on the front, but that was my doing and not the bag’s fault. The shoulder strap is double stitched with nylon webbing underneath the faux leather, so it holds up to decent weight.I would recommend this bag to anyone who needs an affordable office bag. I don’t think it will win any style awards, but it’s professional and offers great internal organization without looking too maximalist.
