Your cart is empty.Set of 5 high visibility strike indicators made of yarn and o-rings. They can be trimmed down to a smaller size if you prefer. Yarn indicators are designed to land lighter on the water than other styles of strike indicators to limit the spooking of fish. No knot needed so less stress on your tippet line. Add floatant as needed to keep your indicator floating high. Set includes Tippet Rings: Ten 2mm 25 pound and Ten 2.5mm 40 pound, each size on individual swivel clasp rings for easy identification between the 2 sizes. To attach to leader, first isolate the next ring in line to be removed before opening clasp. Tie on leader to the ring before opening clasp. Next open clasp to remove ring. Close clasp to lock in remaining rings. These rings are small in size so as to float when dry file fishing or sink when nymph fishing and to be less visible to the fish. Rings eliminate the need to cut back on leader. Ideal for attaching two different size lines. Rings are black nickel in color made of a strong Alloy. Product comes packaged in a Fly Fishermans all-time favorite round cup with hinged lid.

I love these strike indicators, the wool strands, brightly colored against the water are so easy to see when a strike occurs! I can barely believe that I used other strike indicators for years and had no clue these existed, but now that I have my hands on them, I'm happy! Definitely buy with confidence, these will serve you well on the river, lake or pond!

I usually use plastic indicators but have been wanting to try a yarn indicator for a softer presentation. These float beautifully, are easy to attach, and cast just fine. The packaging states you can cut them short if preferred but I haven't needed to do so. The visibility is excellent as well - I've been fishing them at dusk when I struggle the most to see and have no problem tracking these. The tippet rings are a nice bonus and I am using one of them as well. I had never used one before but I think I'm now convinced of their utility and am happy to have them. I have to say I was hesitant to purchase these since there were no reviews yet and the price was so good...but I'm happy so far after three outings with the indicators and tippet rings. Received everything, nicely packaged, and faster than the expected delivery time. I'd buy them again but I think this set will last me a good long time!
