The photo doesn’t do it Justice. It is lightweight, but extremely sturdy and well made. I was looking for something that would go with my existing teak furniture on my enclosed back porch. I am extremely pleased with how beautiful and expensive it looks. I would highly recommend this table if you’re looking for something beautiful yet affordable.

This is a beautiful table. It came fully assembled. The sides fold down easily, however, screwing the bolt in place to keep the legs attached to the table when the sides are up, is a hassle. Who is going to get an Allen wrench and unscrew the bolt every time you want to fold the sides down? I’m certain the table is plenty sturdy without tightening down the bolt. I just stick it through the holes and let it lightly hold the leg to the tabletop. I don’t expect there will be a problem with the sides collapsing and dumping anything on the table. It’s really gorgeous and I’m happy with it.

The 43 inch table I ordered arrived as a 48 inch round which I had already unpacked before I realized it was larger than expected. I wasn't particularly upset as I wanted a smaller table for my sunroom but the slightly larger one still fits the room (and is a really beautiful table). I asked what had happened and the Home Sensibles representative apologized and said they stock both and the wrong one had been shipped by mistake. She offered to exchange the 48" for a 43" but I thanked her and said we'd just keep the one we got. Getting it packed up and re-boxed was more trouble to me than it was worth. I strongly recommend checking the size on the box BEFORE you unpack it if the smaller size is important to you. I was impressed by how quickly she responded and by how willing they were to replace it. I would certainly buy from this seller again as it sounded like this doesn't happen often and they were quick to offer a solution. Moreover, the table is excellent quality and very attractive. In the end I was really very happy with both the table and the seller.

Amazing table! I was delighted when I opened the box and saw the quality. If you shop the high end furniture catalogs / stores you will not be disappointed with this purchase! It is easy to extend either both ends or just one and folds up beautifully to less than a foot wide which makes this perfect for small spaces. Our plans are to use this on the back deck of our boat when entertaining family and friends. If I had need for 2 or 3 I would not hesitate adding a few more!

This table is AWESOME! Looks like teak, for less than half the price. Environmentally friendly plantation-grown eucalyptus. Apply linseed oil once a year and it will last a lifetime. Folds up for winter storage, or you can just drop one side and push it against a wall or fence for a nice half-table. Umbrella hole in the center. You could even use it indoors. Pair with eucalyptus chairs from same mfr for a nice coordinated look on your patio. Seats 4 comfortably, but compact enough for a townhouse patio or small deck.

I purchased this table for our somewhat small patio, 10'x10'. It fits perfectly for our needs and most of the time one leaf will be folded down, leaving a half round table. The table itself is very well made and seems sturdy. There is no assembly required except for 2 screws that can be used to keep the folding legs secure when open.When both sides are folded down the table has a very small footprint, approx. 42" long x 6" wide which will work out great when storing the table in the basement for the winter.Our table was shipped from Ideal True Value in New Hampshire via Fed-Ex. The box looked like it had been through the ringer a bit and the table didn't really have any packaging inside it to protect it from damage during transport. As a result ours had some minor damage to the top of the table, a scratch/dent in the wood as well as a hairline crack. I contacted Ideal right away and sent them pictures of the damage. They responded almost immediately to my issue and we worked out a resolution that I was very happy with and persuaded me to keep the table as-is and repair the damage myself. As retailers go on Amazon I would rate them an A+++ seller. Thanks to Robert at Ideal for taking care of me.Update June 21 2013After having the table for about a year some of the tongue and groove joints have started to raise. Nothing that stops us from using the table but still a bit annoying. We did bring it inside for the winter months but when it is outdoors it is in direct sunlight/rain so that is more than likely the culprit. We have religiously treated it with oil to preserve the finish but the ends of some of the joints have raised approx 1/8" I may try and glue the panels edges back down and keep them clamped for a day or two and see what happens. It is only in 2 places so it's worth a shot.
