I literally had to bring this adapter a third of the way around to test it out, but now it's going to be a traveling companion for me or my daughter (who travels a lot) whenever we plan to rent an EV in Europe, Down Under, etc. I was in Northern Europe and you see these Mennekes type plugs on EVs a lot, even a lot of Teslas over there, and this is a good way to convert from J1772 chargers when that's the only thing you can find.Maybe a good choice if you imported an EV with this style plug, or have an old Nissan Leaf with this port as well. Anyway, it transmits a lot of power at high amperage with no issues, no overheating, and no objections from vehicle or charger. It's made solid and feels heavy and substantial, but small enough to toss in a small cubby or compartment, just don't leave it behind if the car's a rental, as I almost did. LOL.Seriously, it works great and I'm glad to have it since these can be a bit rare to find in the US. And I'm very happy with the quality - I recommend this nice adapter.

The type 2 standard is not yet very common, however, with this adapter I can use the type 1 chargers without problems. So far it has worked like a charm

Excelente! ya puedo recargar en las electrolineras de Type 1, lo he probado un par de veces y no tiene pérdida de energía, acá en Ecuador tenemos 220v y carga a 5.6kwh

Using it on a 2019 Nissan Leaf, and it works like a charm.Charging at ~7kw 30A ... its about 3 times faster than the Type 1 charger the Leaf came with.
