Unfortunately, this worked for only a few months. The fit was fine and it installed easily. When you hold it and shake it, you should hear a little rattle which is essentially the ballast opening and closing. When my engine light went back on a few months after install, the code thrown was an emissions code again and I pulled the pump off the charcoal cannister...shook it and it no longer rattled. Ordered a Chrysler OEM pump (more expensive) and now the light is off. Hopefully, stays that way. For the price, it was well worth the try. The online reviews were good. Perhaps I just received a defective one as the return window has been closed for some time now.

This was the second part that I replaced after replacing the gas cap trying to get rid of check engine light and error for small leak in evaporator system. Didn’t work spent money getting smoke test nothing found. Bought a Dorman part and fixed my issue.

Got this part really fast. Youtube has dozens of videos which show you how to replace this and it rally is easier than the videos show. Took all of 2 minutes to get under my truck and change this out. You can rattle the old part and hear the pump parts shaking around so it's easy to verify that the old part is bad.(NOTE.....)Just don't keep filling your tank after the pump handle shuts off and you won't send liquid down the pipe to this pump which can only handle vapor. Sad note, we did this to ourselves by overfilling our tank! However if you did (like I did and continuously overfilled the tank,) then this replacement pump is for you, best price I could find with a warranty!
