I used it one time and couldn’t use it at the lowest setting because it was taking TOO MUCH off!😂. This thing is a BEAST. I’m looking forward to my next use but WOW did it do a great job. Easy to adjust and the way the handle is designed makes using the bag easy. It effectively self propels and because of the balance you know when the bag is filled because it leans back. All plastic construction makes cleaning easy. It’s small so storage is simple and it’s very light so easy to move and store. Held up well on my first use, no issues at this time.

Really impressed, this machine works great. I can’t believe I was doing this by hand for years. This dethatcher saves so much time. I’d recommend just running it without the bag and raking up the piles after, it’s faster that way. Previous Reviews lead me to buy this, and they didn’t disappoint.

This product is amazing. It made dethatching and scarcifing my yard a breeze. It feels solidly built and works perfectly. I have used a thatch rake in the past but I will never use it again, this machine is awesome. With multiple height adjustments it is easy to find the correct height for what you are trying to accomplish. Once engaged, it practically become self propelled. Changing from dethatch blade to scarcifer blade takes literally 3 minutes. Easy assembly and the noise level is very tolerable without ear protection. I highly recommend this machine. I cannot attest to its long term durability but I have a good feeling about that.

The dethatcher arrived on time & was easy to assemble. I am an elderly woman, only 5'3", I was able to assemble this myself. This is lightweight, yet very powerful! At times this will dig in and pull itself through. It never bogs down, I am amazed at the power this thing has. Feels very sturdy too! The bag fills up way too fast so I don't use it. The only thing that I find a problem is how short the power cord is. I need to tape it down somehow because one slight tug and it comes unplugged. I love this and would recommend it to my lady friends for sure!

I have tested this product to de-thatch several hundred square feet of grass with heavy thatch. I noticed I needed to dump the catch bucket often, but it was easy to do and picks up a lot of dead grass. This was no probelem. I can honestly say this is a fabulous product and will use it to do my whole lawn, jsut about 3/4 acrses. It is compact, powerful and works great.

I have a small piece of property, and the yard needed to be dethatched badly. I read many reviews and decided this was the best for the money. So glad I purchased it. It made light work of the job and I was done in short order. I would have been two days with a rake and this took 2 hours and did a far superior job. When I was finished the yard still appeared very much intact. The refuse collector filled up quickly, I brought a trash can around with me and made it easy to keep emptying it. I could only make a 10 foot sweep before it filled up, (like I said, it desperately need dethatching) I could easily keep going, but then it would leave debris behind, easier to keep emptying the collector.Easy to assemble, operate and store, this didn’t break the bank and I’m glad to own it.

I couldn't believe how easy it was to put together, plus all of the parts they said were in the box, were actually in to box. That seems to be a rare occurrence anymore. I used the dethatcher on my lawn as soon as I put it together and it worked great. The only negative is the bagger. If you have much thatch in your lawn, it fills up instantly. I just used a bungy cord to keep the back door open and put the thatch on the ground and then picked it up with my riding mower with bagger. I only did about 60 percent of my lawn since the other areas didn't have excessive thatch, and I had to pickup truck loads of old dead grass to haul away. So far, so good as far as this product goes!

This dethatcher took about 20-30 minutes to set up and change to the dethatcher head. It is lighhtweight but well built. The noise that it makes is about as loud as a vacuum cleaner. I did my 0.3 acre yard in about an hour. I did have to wrangle with the electric cord, but that is true with any electric corded yard equipment. Do yourself a favor and buy a heavy duty (12 gauge, 15 amp) extension cord. I got a 100 ft cord for my yard, and it was worth it. Cheaper cords may overheat and cause problems. You will need to test out the depth settings. I used "2" for some of the bumpier parts of my yard, and "3" (deeper) for some of the flatter parts. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.
