Too big for the 1/2 violin. Also very hard to adjust it due to design. Now with the 3/4 violin we are trying to make it wider and found the screws are very tight. Not happen with this type of adjustment design.

It was very good until we needed to adjust it from 1/2 to 3/4...The rubber at the screws to adjust the sizing had dry rotted and subsequently when turning to adjust, the rubber grips came off of the screws.

Fits 1/2 violin perfectly. there are a total of 6 holes to insert the arms. plenty of size adjustability. feels comfortable. Silver is a great color

A good, sturdy basic violin shoulder rest. We got this for my son's half size violin and it fit fine with one leg on the innermost hole and the other on the second innermost. The contour fits my son's shoulder and chest pretty well but not perfectly and since this is hard plastic, it is not adjustable. Overall a good product at a good price, maybe great if it happens to fit your shape better than it fit my son's.
