Wood is off, does not square up, need corner locking brackets. I would not buy it again. Wood is ruff.

The wood is flimsy, the pieces do not fit together well, and when finally joined they do not form correct angles. Not made to actually be adjusted for proper stretching of canvas.

I have ordered different ones from here seems some get the colors right and other just don't seem to fit the photo, sometimes you have to replace with a different color, at least everyone was pleased with my work

I was able to stretch 3 of my daughters paint by number paintings onto these canvas stretcher frames. They fit perfectly; 1 had a tiny rim of white canvas around the edges (the blue painting) and the other 2 fit perfectly with no white canvas edge. Easy to fit the corners of the frame together. Came with plenty of tacks, I didn’t even need to use them all, and hanging hardware which was very easy to attach. I highly recommend!

NOTICE: the 16x20in dimensions are the OUTSIDE dimensions of the frame. So if your painting is 16x20 (like mine is) this frame will NOT fit! Each stick of the frame is 7/8in wide so you’d want a frame with outside dimensions of 18x22.The wood pieces also come from different slabs of wood so the grain is VERY different on each (see pic).Once assembled it’s surprisingly sturdy! The assembly is also pretty straightforward with minimal fiddling of trying to align the cuts that are slightly different thicknesses but it worked out and that tight fit is probably what’s making it so sturdy.The edges and the back side of the stocks could use some sanding but overall not too bad for the price.Can’t speak to the thumb tacks since I won’t be attaching it to a frame that’s too small…

My first stretcher bars for my first paint by number. It was not difficult to put together and there were an adequate amount of thumb tacks to secure the canvas. Could be a little sturdier.
