The spindle sliders/bobbins are retained by roll threaded stainless steel spindles for increased strength. The spindle slider/bobbin kits comprise of two nylon bobbins, two anodized aluminum spacers, stainless steel spindle, nuts & washers. I have run these on three different bike and as always, they are well built and quality. They are simple but could use instructions. You need to fully tighten the short thread side first. Then tighten the other side just tight enough that the slider spin freely. They are equipped with nylok nuts, so I have never had them come loose. Even changing tires many times, they still have not come loose. I imagine eventual I will have to replace the nylok nut because they will wear out. You can get cheaper ones but spend the money. you will be happy. I have purchased other brands from another web site and had issues. Such a simple part why should there be any issues? Trust me there are!
