It looks cool and is definitely mealworm escape-proof. My leopard gecko doesn't have the easiest time eating out of it, though, but it's definitely better than other options I've had before. I do like that it's in two parts. I had to get something else when I started feeding him dubia roaches as I think the roaches would get out.

Das Produkt ist gut beschrieben. Wir konnten uns deshalb gut vorstellen, ob es genau das ist, was wir suchen. Das Material ist gut verarbeitet, es ist nichts scharfkantig. Der Ringdeckel hat genau den richtigen Spielraum um nicht zu locker bzw. zu fest zu sitzen. Die Farbe entspricht der Abbildung. Wir sind sehr zufrieden.

The worm dish was literally the best food dish for my insect eating lizard. I got this as a replacement after my bowl's top hit the floor and cracked. Mind you my last mealworm bowl I've had for almost 10 years. Also the Amazon deal was just too good to resist. It holds more than just mealworms. I've thrown in superworms, waxworms, and even tomato hornworms in the bowl and never had an escape issue. I will warn you though, from my experiences, certain reptiles may need a few days to adjust to this bowl since the upper ring almost hides the bugs. If that happens I just throw in a few small mealworms without the ring and once the reptile gets it's first snack, they will usually get the concept and will start eating with the ring on the bowl. Overall it's probably the best food bowl I've ever owned and since it's made of a stone-like material, it's not as easily knocked over compared to the cheap plastic worm dishes. Here's to another 10 years of worm feeding!

It's not superworm proof but still does a pretty good job of making it challenging for them to escape, I know it's intended for meal worms but I'd hoped it would still work. It's a nice looking dish and contains the worms long enough for the feeding time process so I'm happy.

I use this bowl to feed superworms to my beardie. I used to put the worms in a shallow bowl and they kept trying to crawl out before I would put it in my beardie's tank which I got tired of so I tried this product. I can now put as many superworms in this feeder as I want, and none of them escape...at least not right away. Some of them still do get out, but I'm talking one or two over the course of two days, and that's if I load this thing up with 10+ worms.My beardie doesn't seem to have any issues with it, she figured it out right away. She likes to get at it from an elevated position like from a rock or branch.Great product, highly recommend to contain those worm escape artists.

I'm rating it kind of low because from the photos and for the price- considering that it's supposed to hold feeder insects I thought the inside of this would be smooth, but it has a texture to it and the mealworms can crawl out. The other downside is the top doesn't fit the bottom perfectly on the one I received so it wobbles and there's actually even space for them to crawl out through the gap. I'm now using it for dubia roaches, which can also climb it, but I figure it doesn't really matter since mealworms could too and the roaches are higher in protein and just overall healthier for my gecko. I really wanted to like this but it's just overpriced and has a number of flaws that make me almost not want to use it at all. Disappointed.

This feeder dish is amazing!!!! I used to have to drop the worms into my bearded dragon's tank every day and wait for him to eat them so I could pick them back out but not anymore! Some worms have escaped, only 2, however I have had these super worms for awhile and they are quite large. So it doesn't really surprise my that they managed to find a way out. However even with the couple of escapees it is still worth it, and my bearded dragon figured out where the worms were right away.Just take a look around your beardies tank when you collect their food dishes at the end of the day to catch any escape artists (if you are using large worms, smaller worms like phoenix worms, and medium sized super worms shouldn't escape) and you shouldn't have any problems. This dish will definitely make your life easier.
