Was hard to find a fork for the 1-1/8" steerer on my older mountain bike. Not many suspension options and then came across this rigid fork. Using rim brakes on it and it is a very nice looking and very light fork. Ride is very nice on it too.

I put this aluminum fork on my vintage drop bar mountain bike build and I must say Im quite impressed. The fork is very lightweight, has a good compliant feel to it when riding, and doesn't flex or vibrate at all under hard braking; It also looks great too. I was a bit hesitant to buy from a non-mainstream company but after looking around I realized carbon cycles has been selling these forks since the mid 2000's, that knowledge quelled my apprehension. Great product.
