Because they're synthetic, they're perfect for water-based finishes where steel wool would cause rust problems. Non-woven technology means they won't shed abrasive crumbs onto the finish. Best of all, they're completely washable; just rinse them out under a tap to renew the abrasive qualities. Large 6" x 9" pads make quick work of broad flat surfaces. Available in three color-coded grades. 93451 is comparable to #2 Steel Wool. 93469 is comparable to #0 Steel Wool and 93477 is comparable to #000 Steel Wool, 93443 is comparable to #3 Steel Wool.
