this is great if the nut is hard to break loose.sometimes the plastic wrench breaks if too tight.especially if someone has worked on it before you may have bought it used.if the unmentionable is new or still stockNormally, it’s not a problem

After trying different tool that were not meant for the job I found this and it was a very good investment. It took the corroded nut right off there. Definitely spend the money and get the stainless. 10/10

worked good on a Mossberg 500 Field 12 gauge to get the forend nut off & then back on. would help if these tools had like studs or arms coming off the sides to give you leverage because when it's on the forend/magazine tube there's no way to do it other than grab around the tool.

Used to remove the retaining nut on the pump handle of a Mossberg 500. The smaller set of pins on the tool fit in the nut's indents.However, it's easy for the handle to shift during use and make some nice scratches in the magazine tube. There are several recommendations on line to carefully cover the tube with tape. That is a mandate!I'm guessing most of the similar tools sold would also need the tape wrap trick and serious care when removing or reinstalling the nut that holds the pump handle in place.
