This extra short focus monocular is designed specifically for individuals with low vision, particularly seniors and those with vision impairments. Its key feature is the ability to view objects at very close distances, making it ideal for reading, detailed work, and tasks that require close-up focus.**Pros:*** **Excellent for Close-Up Viewing:** The short focus distance is the standout feature, allowing users to easily read small print, examine intricate details, and perform tasks that are difficult with standard binoculars or monoculars.* **Large Field of View:** The wide field of view ensures that users can see a significant area, making it easier to navigate and observe surroundings.* **Versatile for Near and Far:** While primarily designed for close-up viewing, the monocular also offers the ability to view objects at a distance, providing versatility for various situations.* **Compact and Portable:** Its small size and lightweight design make it easy to carry around and use on the go.* **Suitable for Seniors and Low Vision Users:** The design and features are specifically tailored to address the needs of individuals with vision impairments, making it a practical and helpful tool.**Cons:*** **Magnification Level:** The 6x magnification may not be sufficient for individuals with severe vision loss. Some users might prefer a higher magnification level for certain tasks.* **Image Quality:** While the monocular provides a clear image for its intended purpose, the image quality might not be as sharp or detailed as higher-end monoculars.* **Durability:** The build quality might not be as robust as some other monoculars on the market.**Overall:**This extra short focus monocular is a valuable tool for individuals with low vision, particularly seniors who struggle with reading and close-up tasks. Its short focus distance, large field of view, and portability make it a practical and convenient solution. While the magnification and image quality might not be top-tier, it effectively addresses the specific needs of its target audience.**Recommendation:**If you or a loved one is struggling with low vision and needs a monocular for close-up viewing, this product is worth considering. It offers a good balance of features and affordability, making it a practical choice for improving daily life and enhancing visual capabilities. However, if you require a higher magnification level or exceptional image quality, you might want to explore other options within the low vision monocular market.

I think this is slightly overpriced at £29.99 because there's similar ones with the same magnification at cheaper prices. It's reasonably sturdy and easy to hold.Using it is tricky and what I mean by that is, getting it to focus is rather tricky and when you finally get it to somewhat focus you lose it when you put it into the storage pouch because the focus wheel is easily turned. If youre looking for a decent monocular, look elsewhere because I don't think you'll be too pleased with this one.

This is a very handy little monocular which is small and lightweight. It can be easily slipped into a coat pocket for when you go out for a hike and want something handy to do a bit of bird or wildlife spotting. For the price (£29.99 at the time of the review) these offer great value for money. The optics are good producing a clear and focused image in daylight. The focus ring easy to turn even with gloved hands making this very easy to operate. A little carry case and wrist strap is included making this even more useable. The downside to this monocular is that you do need good lighting to get the best out of it. Due to the small lens size not a huge amount of light can get in meaning the image becomes poor the lower the light. You definitely couldn't use this to look at the moon or stars at night.Provided your usage will be in well lit conditions this is a nice little monocular which is also very reasonably priced.

This monocular has improved my experience at sporting events significantly. With its easy focus adjustment, I can follow the details of the game without the bulk of traditional binoculars. It’s lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry around my neck throughout an event. Although primarily designed for closer views, it also does a decent job at longer distances, catching quick plays on the field with clarity. For anyone needing a simple, effective visual aid for sports or similar events, this tool does well.

As advertised, this monocular (branded as Ramiere), works at very short distances, which is a feat that my larger (but still very pocketable) 8x25 monocular cannot accomplish. Unfortunately, field of view isn't great in close quarters -- for example: at 10" away, FOV is limited to the letters QWAS on my keyboard. This is better than nothing if you need it as an accessibility device, but prepare to move your neck a lot if your intention is to read with it. Due to its tiny 16mm objective lens, it is usable but unimpressive in the dim lighting inside my home. Performance improves considerably with good outdoor lighting, and the monocular becomes more useful than I anticipated -- it won't keep up with any decent, larger monocular, but its 6x magnification works well at what I would consider "normal" monocular distances. I recommend this if your goal is to have the most portable monocular possible, but if you can spare a bit more room, you should consider the largest "pocket" monocular that your pocket can carry.

This Extra Short Focus Reading Monocular with Large FOV was quite adorable. It helps absolutely with being able to hone in on the focus while you're holding this and it's so small that it fits right into any pocket you have. You don't have to worry about this taking up any space whatsoever and it's incognito, lol. I love the fact that I got a chance to see the birds in the back up close without having to disrupt them feeding on the seeds we put on the ground in our backyard. Not to mention how easy it is to focus and refocus by just adjusting the side piece as you circular motion turn it. Either way, this right here is definitely good for people with vision impairment or low vision because I didn't even have to wear my glasses with this. Thank you.
