That saying is very old but true. This scale tells the truth and anyone nearby will clearly hear it. Anyone with poor vision will no longer have to squint to see the numbers. This is the best and most accurate scale we’ve ever had. My weight registered exactly the same as it did on my doctor’s scale a few hours later. Order one right now!

I had great hopes for this scale. I found it accurate and easy to read, BUT all I wanted was the voice to tell the weight. But the voice had plenty to say. It took four times to figure out what I was being told; I ordered this for my husband who is partially blind, and thought the voice would tell him his weight. He has to weight every day, and he couldn't tell what the scale was saying, and became frustrated. I had to return it.I needed the weight in a clear voice, nothing else. Now I'm afraid to order another one. Because they can have a voice, they will want to have a conversation.

Purchased for my severly visually impaired and elderly mother. Now she can weigh in private. Repeat of weight is wonderful. Tone and cadence appropriate and loud enough for her to hear. Mom is 82 with some hearing loss. Not one little complaint from either of us.Update: Purchased in February 2022. Batteries lasted until June 2022. Still not a complaint. Lovely product. She uses often. Mom cannot change the batteries herself. Someone does have to complete that task for her.

This is a great talking scale. I am visually impaired and have no usable vision so cannot read the screen on any scale. This talking scale makes it possible for me to check my weight. I also use it to measure the weight of heavier packages by first weighing myself and then weighing myself holding the package and subtracting my weight from the total weight of me and the package so I can ship things with accurate weights on them. it does announce the weight twice, which I don’t think is necessary, but it might be a useful feature for someone who did not hear the wait the first time. It is not terribly loud, but it is not quiet either. I thought it was going to be too loud based on the reviews, but the volume is perfect. There is no way to change the volume though. It weighs in both pounds and kilograms, and you can use the switch on the back to switch between the two. it is easy to use. You just step onto it and then step off, and it will announce your weight twice

Great scale's, easy to read. the style is stylish and easy to clean. The reason I gave it a 4 star is that is should talk according to the explanation of the scale. Have been able to hear or get it to talk. That is one of the reason I purchased it, otherwise it is nice, Disappointed in the non talking scale's.

I've been using it for about six weeks, and it's still working great. It's accurate and says my weight twice in a clear understandable English voice, e.g. "Your weight is two hundred and fourteen point seven pounds. Your weight is two hundred and fourteen point seven pounds." My feet are each 11" x 4 1/2", and together they fit the 12 1/4" x 12 1/4" surface quite well; I don't have to make an effort to squeeze them into the space.

If you buy this scale, just be aware it comes without including batteries, so you'll need 2 AAA batteries before you can use.Very easy to use. No endless fiddling with settings. Just one setting for either kgs or lbs with a press of a button, and battery door is very easy to open.The display is large, and the voice reads out your weight as well, so great for those with vision issues who normally can't read the display on a scale. Voice is very robotic sounding, but it does the trick.Compared it against some other scales I have, and it reads true. Make sure you put it in the same location every day, because the platform feet are sensitive and if you're on an unlevel surface the weight may change or read differently.Good choice if you want an easy to use scale that doesn't track all kinds of other metrics, just weight.

This product worked excellent. The talking aspect made it so easy for my parents to keep track of every pound of water weight gained on my father who had congested heart failer. He could report to his doctor every day with ease through the large numbers and talking device. Unfortunately he only got to use it for 2 weeks before he passed away. But I thank you for making products easy for senior citizens. This was a great scale used by the worlds best Dad.
