The Extreme Max Flip-Up Motorcycle Wheel Chock offers an excellent solution to trailering your motorcycle without sacrificing valuable floor space in your trailer. The flush mount design of the chock keeps it flat to the floor when not in use, which is perfect for multi-purpose trailers while still allowing the permanent installation of your wheel chock. The 16" model offers a recessed dimension of 7.25" wide by 13" long and 2" deep, fitting 16" to 21" diameter wheels. (Note: Only 16" wheels will sit flat on the bottom of the chock, while larger diameter wheels up to 21" may use the chock effectively, the tire just won't contact the bottom of the chock.) Each chock includes a drain hole and drain plug to prevent the chock from holding water and debris while making it easier to keep your trailer floor clean. Installation requires cutting an opening into the trailer floor.

The chock was rather easy to install on a trailer that is decked with 2X6 boards. I just made a couple plunge cuts with a skill saw, finished them with a sawsall and dropped the chock in the hole. A quick marking of the holes, drop in the carriage bolts, and you are about done. The hardest part of the job was laying on the ground under the trailer.

These recessed chokes work great and are heavy built

Compared to the first one I bought, quality control missed the mark on this one. Welds on all four corners are horrible and the top does not sit flush with the frame. Last two pics are the first one I bought. They are sending a replacement, lets hope it's as good as the first one I bought. I'll let you know.Update: Replacement was a little better, was actually welded this time but lid still didn't sit flush so it's going back for a refund.
