Unless you want your printer to sound like a clicker its best to avoid this BMG clone. The metal gear provided has extremely poor tolerances and will whack the motor gear on retractions causing a annoying clicking sound. The plastic gear doesn't have this issue but you purchased this clone because it came with a metal gear.Because of the annoyance of the sound I cannot recommend anyone purchase this.

tl;dr: Arrived missing stuff. Mounted it backwards on an Aquila running Alex fw along with makeshift potato hardware and it worked surprisingly well. A replacement arrived with all of the hardware. Buy it.-----------How can a box packaged this nicely be missing crucial hardware that is supposed to be included and required to operate?!I went with the Right/Clear. My order arrived missing the thumb screw, the tension spring and the washerThe packaging was awesome. It looked carefully placed and cared for inside of a clear, reusable snap-shut container coming out of the box. The box became a nice extra place for printer hardware before I even realized how nice it was to have handy. The extruder itself uses all metal gears and it overall feels solid.I'm running a Voxelab Aquilla n32; Alex firmware.I ended up mounting it backwards in order to use it as I source the missing components. To run it backwards, I had to reverse my stepper motor. The non threaded metal side is currently my inlet, while the preconnected coupler is attached to the PTFE out to the nozzle. The extruder comes with (and perhaps surprisingly, I actually received) 3 longer bolts for mounting - this extruder will mount to the factory Aquilla bracket in either direction without clearance issues. If you mount it backwards, it simply just looks unpleasant. With all these issues though - a makeshift tension screw, not even knowing what missing hardware is or supposed to be, mounting it backwards - i got it to work. And it seems to be working nicely. I calibrated esteps and extrusions are smooth; nozzle flow seems to be more predictable and accurate in general. I noticed a difference right away in the print quality of layers above smaller circles and towers, where with the stock extruder these shapes often suffered from oozing or blobs as the print head moved in and out of their location.(installing it proper and i'll update)

Nov 27 2021:I received that package without issue. All parts needed were included, for those who may need instructions none were included within my package. Build quality seems good but I have not run it through it's paces yet but even if it has a few hiccups you are buying a clone at a fraction of the price. Although a simple youtube search for a similar model should be able to sort you out. I didn't have a washer of the right size to give that a shot but so far it worked without issue. I used Klipper/Fluidd to manage my printer's and setting the rotation_distance to 7.711 seemed to work well with initial testing. As at least one reviewer has said there is a noise when retracting but I'm sure it is an easy fix to resolve. Overall it performs better out of the box then the stock Ender 3 v2 extruder and I look forward to using it more.Once I'm able to run a few prints through it I will update my review.
