But for plungers they are more than adequate. Had a little trouble getting them firmly screwed together but once that was done they seem sturdy enough.

The cup is bigger in diameter and heighth than most, long handle. Depending on what kind of toilet you have, you want to have the same angle as the outlet of the toilet to get a proper seal. You need to keep it clean by wiping any debri off it and a quick spray with a disinfectant
