This is just like the one that was in bathtub originally. The original was broken accidentally because of lack of knowledge on how to use. The top was twisted and broke the brass shaft. I bought a tool to remove the base, installed in about 2 minutes. Seals perfect, fit is perfect, looks like original. I'm very pleased. Best of all, a bath is again an option. Holds water with no drainage.

This is the second one for a tub and works perfect. Same exact thing at Home Depot but hd is twice as much. Maybe it just the Ada store that has these prices, they just keep jacking the prices up

I recently installed the Eastman 35233 Lift-N-Turn Bath Drain Assembly in my bathroom, and it has been a great upgrade! The assembly is made of durable brass with a chrome-plated finish, giving it a sleek and modern look. The lift-n-turn stopper is easy to operate and provides a secure seal. Installation was straightforward, and the coarse thread design ensured a tight fit.

Itβs very basic, but does the job. It has a tight seal, is easy to install and use. Better than a pop up.

Good plug but not for me. Two problems: plug removal and future replacement. If you need to remove the plug on a regular basis for cleaning (long hair); it like to spin freely and be troublesome. Also I am replacing a corroded drain with a tub drain extractor tool. This Eastman drain is slightly smaller in diameter than my old drain of a different brand. My extractor does not fit in this Eastman drain should it need future replacement.

I would recommend this item for an inexpensive replacement for a similar drain that you are replacing(like in a rental apartment). Toughest part of the job was removing the old damaged drain. Once removed this easily filled the void of the old one.

My old drain assembly was over 23 year old and was bubbling and corroding. With some effort I unscrewed it, cleaned up the drain area and installed this new drain assembly. I wanted one that fit without an adapter and was solid metal. Last thing I want is some dried out plastic piece breaking off inside the pipe. Used plumbers putty for the underside of the edge and pipe door for the threads.1-7/8β OD AND 11.5 TPI (Thread Per Inch)Looks Great!

Worked perfectly for replacing a 1970's equivalent. Fit like a glove. Very strong construction. I would use Eastman products again.

I noticed the markings and country of manufacture are all the same as the more expensive Moen drain I replaced. This is a direct screw on with no adapter.

Installed super easy, but omg the last one I had to dremel out very carefully as it broke and disintegrated. Not the fault of the new one obviously. I am dubious of it sealing though so I will update to 5 stars if it actually holds a seal next time I bath when all the caulking is dry.
