The kids absolutely love this rebounder, it has held up great to the harsh Saskatchewan climate and we are very impressed. Hauled it to practices and can use great in team drills as well. What is not mentioned enough is the bonding that you and your children will have putting this beauty together. Your kids will learn a whole new set of words that make future family gatherings and school parent teacher events even more memorable. Really is the gift that keeps on giving!!

Bought this for my 12 year old son and he loves it. The rebounder is sturdy, the extra large surface area is a plus, and it returns the ball at a good speed. Assembly was easier than i thought it would be, except the edge of one of the poles came bent and wouldnt attach to the other one, but fortunately i was able to bend it into proper position with some needle nose plyers. Still a great rebounder overall though.

Agree that instructions are not best. I went by pic and laid all parts on ground then tried to follow instructions for the order of build for frame.Agree for netting to start at 4 corners then middle of each side and keep attaching from there onward. The count in between was not as shown in instructions so I just counted up total squares on each side and divided by what they gave (there was a couple extras in the pack). And continued that way.I didn’t need a ratchet as many people used but I did have a second person so that worked well. Total assembly was about an hour.I’ve had it a couple weeks now and very pleased. My son and I both use it.

I purchased this for my son for lacrosse who outgrew our old cheap baseball pitchback (which worked fine when he was younger but now that he's 10 we needed something stronger). Knowing EZGoal from hockey, I knew they'd be a good choice. This rebounder is SOLID, all thick pipes and some strong netting and bungees. After reading many reviews I was not looking forward to the assembly, in particular the part where you attach the net. But once I jumped in I realized it was a lot simpler than everyone made it out to be. The hardest part was figuring out the spacing for the bungees (and realizing there are 2 spares you're not supposed to use). Once I had them all in place I attached each corner, then the middle (middle one side and then middle the other so it was stretched evenly, then middle on top/middle on bottom), then just kept attaching the middle of what was left until it was all done, no special tools required and not a ton of muscle either. All in all I'd say assembly start to finish takes about an hour if you take your time and stop for lunch in the middle, definitely not the nightmare some made it out to be.

Like others have stated, the assembly was quite difficult. The instructions are not entirely clear. For example, there are metal collars on the uprights that are supposed to be removed, but that was not stated in the instructions. I called to verify. I wish the manufacturer would post an assembly video online.Attaching the bounce back netting required 2 ratchet straps (as recommended by another reviewer, not the manufacturer.) The straps made attaching the bungees manageable, but still difficult.Once assembled the item seems sturdy and of good quality, and is portable. The price was very competitive compared to similar products. Plus, this can be used as a lacrosse goal with the purchase of a net. I’m sure I could resell this item in a few years to a family with a young athlete.

I received the EZGoal on time and with no damage to the box. I took everything out and inspected it. The only thing I found was a spring that came loose. I was able to hook it back up while the goal was folded. It took me about 2 hours to put it together by myself.. You can do it but I would recommend 2 people to make it easy and faster. The longest part was understanding the instructions. I am very mechanical minded and it took me bit to figure it out. Once I did it was easy to put it together. The goal feels sturdy and my Daughter loves it. A couple of things I would recommend is putting sand bags on the base to keep it from vibrating and make sure to tighten all the nuts to make sure they are on. As for folding it, that took a bet to figure it out. I thought I was going to brake it but it works. "Make sure you unhook the spring covers and press in the pin spring things" or you will hear a very loud noise. I thought I broke it but didn't You have to press the pins springs in when folding or unfolding them. They are next to were the quick release pins are. Other than that Its a great goal and I recommend it.

Looks like one of the openings was slightly bent when I got it. I did a little work on it and then put in the post with a rubber mallet and it went in without too much trouble. This was on a bottom post that does not need to move or anything. tried it out in the garage and it worked great. Got it outside and tried it with my kids. They needed a bit more loft on their passes so I had to adjust the angle. took seconds. It really sounds like it can take a beating. bounce surface is really tight and the frame is sturdy and does not move. My kids are starting out so they can't hurt it. I was hitting it about 3/4 speed and it didn't move. A great thing to have around when you don't have a brick wall to bounce against. And a great price too. I've seen plenty of name brand ones > $200. This is cheap, sturdy and well made. I expect it to last until my youngest finishes high school (10 years).

From all the reviews I have read, this one is the best. My daughter loves it. It is very sturdy and works great. Some people complain that it is difficult to set up. I am not sure what they are talking about! Maybe they don’t know how to read. I suspect they tried to do it all themselves. We had it all put together in less than 15 minutes. The key is you need at least two people to do it. There are springs that hold pieces that snap into place. You have to have someone stand on the base while pulling back the springs. My only complaint is that one of the safety pins didn’t fit in after we unfolded the unit. I haven’t even bothered to call the manufacture since the pin on the other side fit perfectly. The safety pins are overkill anyway. There is no way the device is going to come apart with or without one or two safety pins unless you were purposely trying to take it apart.
