I bought this to replace the tension rope on my boat cover. I had to sew a ratchet strap crank on one end and then pull it through the tension rope sleeve of the cover, but now I can easily ratchet the cover onto the boat and get it much tighter. Now it doesn't billow when towing and has stayed on during some tropical storm winds without issue.

This strapping material is very high quality, supple and strong. It is a little more expensive than the competition, but it's supposed to be more UV resistant than others too. Would recommend.

Twice the thickness of standard Bimini straps and it has a much better feel to them due to the materials feel and its weight. Very easy to work with, I’ve hand sewn loops pretty easily.I’m going to upgrade some of my stainless ratchet straps with this webbing. I have even chose it over paracord for a few random things.Best Bimini strap material I’ve found.

I use it to replace the broken webbing of my older ratchets. The hook end needs to be sewed on, I already had a needle and thread for splicing rope for that. Ratchet straps are like new and stronger than originals now.

I have purchased this in the past and absolutely swear by it. Not only is it heavy duty, but it works well for outdoor applications (with the proper thread). The photograph shows the battery box on my trailer. I made that hold-down strap four years ago using this webbing. While the sun has totally bleached the parachute buckle, the webbing has remained in good shape. You won’t get that quality with the webbing at joann! And the price is great.

This is a very good quality webbing. Looks solidly built and tough can hold up very well. I used it as a DIY to sew onto D rings as a reel strap onto a spinning rod attached to a fishing harness for deep sea fishing purposes.I made many of such straps and gave a number of them to my fishing buddies who are also very impressed at its quality.
