These connectors are a vast improvement over the ones I used 40 years ago. No special crimp tool needed, and the screw on feature is solid and very easy to use. It took me about 5 minutes to replace one of the old style connectors that had gone bad. Good strong signal from the antenna now. I highly recommend this product.

I needed to terminate one cable up in my attic plus I needed a few barrel connectors for a cable run. I thought this set would do the job, but I was very wrong. The barrels are fine, but the twist on connectors are useless. First, the silver and gold color ones are slightly different size. If you put them next to each other you can tell that one is slightly larger than the other. The larger one was not large enough to go onto the RG-6 coax I needed to terminate. It wouldn't go around the jacket despite multiple attempts to round out the cable.I ended up spending $17 for a kit that had a stripper, compression crimper, and 10 compression ends. With this kit I had the connector on in just a couple of minutes.I did end up using a couple of the barrel connectors, so it wasn't worth my effort to return this screw-on kit. Just be warned that you are likely to end up wasting money on any screw-on solution. Spend a couple more dollars and put real connectors on your cables.

Perfect fit and connection. My download speeds are where they should now after replacing the coaxial connectors with these.
