Installed on my 89 f150, front tank works good switched to rear lost fuel pressure stuck on highway.Got towed home removed selector and blew through rear tank supply connection nothing coming out, took top off selector found plunger not moving removed diaphragm and pulled on plunger it was stuck got it out found spring wedged between plunger and side of selector reinstalled spring. Now I have fuel coming out with rear tank usage haven't test drove yet hopefully that fixed my no fuel issue. Fits good pressure outlet leaked installed different end on hose no leak now.

I researched this part and it fits my f350 with dual tanks. My truck has a diesel engine and I think the tank switch looks different; however, minimal modifications should allow this to fit if there is a problem. A distinction is not made between gasoline and diesel switch. This is a spare because I am having some minor problems with my tank selector. I give 5 stars because most transfer switches look identical to this one at more than twice the price. I order my repair parts from Amazon because they save 30 to 80 percent for identical or equivalent parts. This price is in line with Amazon's price options. I rate this based on prior experience with Amazon repair parts. I think you will be pleased with this repair part.

In my pictures, I show this valve side-by-side with the old one I was replacing. I installed this in my 1986 Ford Bronco. This Fuel Tank selector valve/filter and reservoir was a direct replacement part. I had no issues installing it and I was surprised that it came with the mounting bolts and fuel line clips as that wasn’t in the description as far as I saw. In the first picture you can see the fuel pickup which I later removed to install the fuel filter. Both sizes of reservoir cups will fit on this selector valve. The selector valve took care of the hard-starting issue from fuel leaking past the seals in the old selector valve and draining from the fuel lines.I’ve had this on my truck for 4 months and I haven’t had any issues.
