This is a pretty good beginner set up that works as it should and gives you a variety of sound controls to get you started. The instructions are pretty much useless but you can search youtube for some videos on this product to get you going

My grandson thought I really needed to do a podcast on plant care. He finally bugged me enough about it that I decided I'd better try it. This set has been fun to learn on. The quality is not really high end but functions well enough that I was able to record a decent bit with it. The sound quality seems fine. The included instructions are terrible. Thankfully there are YouTube videos for this particular set. The videos explained how to hook everything up and use it. The included earbuds leave a lot to be desired and are pretty much dollar store quality. Connectivity works as it should. Since the board is rechargeable it's pretty easy to make this setup portable. It's a great setup to learn on and now my grandson will quit hounding me about making a podcast. I have to admit that I did enjoy doing it and it made him pretty proud of his old grandmother. I'm giving this product a yes.

This is a complete scam. The directions are a bunch of random words thrown together and they do NOT work. Also the company will not allow any sort of refund.

This is an interesting kit that leaves me a little uncertain how to rate it. For the money, you certainly get a lot of stuff with a lot of features. The questions are: Who is this for, and is it worth the price? That is where rating this gets a little challenging. Almost everything you get, which, again, is a LOT, is almost entirely plastic and feels like, well, a toy. The included instructions make this seem even more like a toy as they provide very little information about the mixer and when to use what. Trying everything out is kind of fun (even at age 58), but even so, it is challenging to figure out whether some of the functions are actually making a difference or if they simply don't really work.To be fair, the mics work, and yes, you even get cheap pop filters to use with them if you'd like. And you have a slew of cheeky sound effects to add if you're into that sort of thing. The quality of the sounds adds to the toy-like orientation of this kit. If they were simply programmable, or even just replaceable (even without some kind of easy-to-use interface to do so), this would have greater value. The ability to use this without A/C power is kind of a neat feature and perhaps helpful if you're doing something outside (maybe going live). This kit is well-suited for a young teenager who is interested in learning about audio mixing. For this audience, I think this kit is worthwhile, albeit a little frustrating without a helpful user guide. I'd give it maybe 3.5 stars for this audience. If you're considering this because you really do want to try your hat at podcasting, you're probably be better off investing, slowly as needed, in other higher quality (but still budget oriented) gear. For this audience, I'd rate this maybe 2.5 or 3 stars. I'll give it an average of 3 stars.

I have to say... I'm just not yet sold on this product. Not because it lacks for features or is poorly made necessarily. But the NUMBER ONE requirement of any device is that your user base can figure out how to use it!I've used several other phyiscal form digital and analog mixer boards which connect to PC and phones. But in all other cases, I have a GUIDE that helps me figure out how to use the many buttons. This tiny little piece of paper that comes iwth this set is totally inadequate to provide How-To for the board!Yes, I could see from the guide which ports connect to which objects or external cables, connections or devices. But the major and very basic questions yet remain: -- How to get inline / mixed sound pushed OUT from the board into the PC -- How to get sounds from the PC or phones or other input streams mixed into board's streamThe only thing I've so far figured out how to do is use the earbuds for stream output alone, -- but totally separate from the PC, -- even though I can see and select "F998" device as either Bluetooth or direct-linked audio deviceClearly the thing this vendor needs most to do is pay someone to write a decent manual for them, with typical headings and how-to's like -- Quick Start Guide -- Connections in and Out -- Bluetooth Pairing -- Merging / Segregating / Selecting Audio Streams for INPPUT for OUTPUT ... etcNone of this kind of info is avaiable, and I've pretty much exhaused my trial and error patience trying to figure it out.I don't think this product is really ready for the big time.It also has a very intriguing phrase on the box: "with Patented Audio Referencing Companding"Hmmm... so okay... it can do cool stuff.... But How!!??Might want to start with some basics before getting up into the clouds with "companding" and "signal quantization" type thangs...

This mixer has a lot of settings. There are videos for this specific unit online so you can understand what each button does. For the voice changer, it just does specific changes to the 4 voices listed. You don’t have a pitch adjuster or anything like that to fine tune the sound. It comes 2 pairs of mics and everything else. I am using only one. Everything looks very well made. I like that you do not have to have the unit plugged in to use it. You can charge is and use it without being plugged in so that would make this mixer portable.I recommend this set to anyone that would like to start podcasting. You have a spare mic so you can have others join you.
