I ordered this pillow to try for back pain relief and also because I use a CPAP machine. It's very difficult for me to sleep at night due to neck and shoulder strain, so I wanted to try this donut hole pillow. Overall, it works as described. The foam is high density and does not easily deform, while at the same time soft enough to be comfortable. It is easy to breathe while using it.It comes shipped in a tightly rolled up cylinder, and pops back into shape within minutes. During the first few days, it may smell a little like chemicals.I'm not sure what that middle/core piece is for, besides plugging in the hole. I like that it comes with a handle for easy carrying or securing to a suitcase for travel. Really my only complaint is that the zipper hardware is metal and can scratch you if you run up against it the wrong way. It's the zipper for the hole and on the underside.

This pillow is solid, firm memory foam. It came in a vacuum pack, and expanded to full size after a short time. It smells like memory foam when your face is in the hole. I don't think I could sleep with this pillow, but it's good for short term use, like a face-down back rub. The cover comes off completely for washing.For the price, this is a good option for this type of pillow.

This is a very comfortable pillow/cushion that is particularly designed to be used during a massage. There is additional head cushioning as well, but basically you have your head in the hole, allowing you to breath unimpeded, and your arms inside the wells. This leaves everything supported while still relaxed. PERFECT DESIGN for a massage, very well thought out and quite well made Not too hard, but has sufficient firmness to hold shape. Easy to clean surface, and obviously really useful.

I have neck pain and I have my husband give me a massage to ease the pain.This pillow is great for us because I can now lay down on the bed face down and allow my hands to relax and my neck isn’t tensed up from twisting on a pillowcase.The cushion is very firm and supports my weight and the hole is big enough for my face. The hole could be a little bigger and the area below depending on the surface makes it hard to breathe. I put it on my bed so it was squished into it. Works better on a hard surface like a table or floor.It can be unzipped and washed which is nice. I don’t like the buttons on the side as I had to dig my fingers into the cushion to press on the back side to button it.Overall works well for my needs.

Perfect for home massages! Without a breathing hole, lying face down can be uncomfortable as the neck is forced to twist sideways. This pillow provides great comfort, making extended use hassle-free. There was a slight odor upon opening, but after ventilating for 24 hours, the smell completely disappeared.
