Perfect fit replacement. I have a 2003 Honda civic 2 Dr, it was the exact replacement and fit and all worked after putting back together.

2008 Honda Odyssey LX. When locking the doors, he van will continue to lock and unlock. There’s a tech bulletin pointing this the drivers lock being the cause. After replacement, no more locking and unlocking multiple times. Remembers there’s 2 plastic clips connecting the rods to the door locks; use a pic to remove the plastic clips from the rods.

Mi seguro eléctrico no servía, se instaló en un civic 2004 coupe LX y solucionó el problema. Funciona bien. Un eléctrico o un cerrajero lo puede instalar.

2nd one I buy as I own multiple Honda elements and this seems to be a common failure point. This product works great looks and functions just like a OEM part. Highly recommend!

This part was so cheap and relatively easy to install. Sure, the shop or dealer could do this in a day but if you have a garage at home just take a few days to slowly take your door apart and replace this. Just get yourself a plastic trim tool to remove your door panel - plenty of YouTube videos to show you how. The fob now works like brand new and God knows how much I saved I think I paid less than $30 for this along with plastic pry bar and a Honda dealer would have been who knows? $500?Repair was on a 2008 Honda Odyssey. Perfect now.

Bought this thinking most parts like this (including OEM parts) are churned out of factories in China, and one might be pretty much as good as the next. Wrong! I installed this using a video I found online, and it was a laborious process to get to the part, but the part itself was easy to swap out. After less than a year, I'm having to swap out the same actuator. This is something you don't want to do more than once to your car. Save yourself the hassle of having to redo work and buy either an OEM part or more tested and warranted parts from a big name auto store.

Both my drivers and passengers side door lock actuators failed with a month of each other. I have actually replaced the passenger's side actuator about 3 years ago so I knew the process. While the actuators are not that difficult to replace, it does require some disassembly of the door panel and removal of the door lock. There is limited space so it can be a bit tricky. However, if you're fairly good at DYI repairs then it shouldn't be that difficult. Especially, there are several excellent Youtube instructional videos.Other than that, the part was a direct fit and worked once installed. As said the most difficult part is installation. The quality of these parts are hit or miss, but if you get a couple of years out of it and installed it yourself, you saved yourself hundreds from the dealership or mechanic, so well worth it and you learn something in the process.

After the dealer quoted me about $500 to replace the lock actuator, I found this item. Far cheaper than OEM, and half or less the cost of an auto parts' store brand. After not finding any good videos for my exact vehicle, I did the best I could with videos for similar models. Took me quite a while to actually replace it (still cost far less than the dealer's labor charge), due to variations. Eventually got it replaced and all put back together. Was a PERFECT fit. Moment of truth, and my power locks are all working again!Almost 2 months since install and everything is still working great.
