Wish backboard was stronger. Hooks broke within 6 months.

On the plus side I believe all the parts were there.I found the coat hooks to be flimsy, the screws are tiny. I'll give them 14 days before I have to work on them.The shelves are held up with 1/8" dia Dowell pins. I don't believe they will last either. I can picture the kids climbing on them to get to the top shelf.The panels for the back have holes in them that progressivly get farther off as you attach the screws.Good luck.Dave

I like the way it has turned out, but when getting to the step with piece #13, it says to put the cam screws in the middle — or at least that is what it looks like to me on the picture. The part where the cam screws go looks to be pointing to the middle of 3 holes, but after having to take them all out and adjust to make everything work, I had to put the cam screws in a different hole to correct. This probably added close to an hour in my 5 to 6-hour setup of this.The slots for shoes are pretty small, so boots and adult high tops do not fit well or some at all. Kids shoes, tennis shoes, sandals, etc all fit wellAfter all, though, it looks great and is *fairly* sturdy. It is extremely heavy and does not come with wall connections to keep from tipping, but I can do that myself. I’m happy with the purchase.

The piece looks fantastic and really helps organize everything. The coats, winter gear, and tons of shoes are neatly stored. Note that it took a long time (5 hours) to assemble and is definitely a 2 or even 3 person job. Great buy, just be prepared to work a whole day on it.

This hall tree was exactly the physical size and capacity that I was looking for, and at a great price. Assembly took a couple leisurely hours. I have received multiple compliments since I added it to my front hallway. I highly recommend it.
