I was surprised when I finally figured out how to deploy this tool, with how slick the case and tool itself are. The rotary tool has more power than I was expecting as well, and the multitude of tips is really nice as well. I wish that there were better tips on the different uses for them however as I found the details in the instructions a little lacking. Overall, this is a really nice tool that I use to engrave things as well as just play around popping it in and out of it's case.

ハンドクラフトに最適な小型ルーターです。ビットは各種、30個付いています。回転スピードは5段階で調整できますが、一旦電源をオフにするとリセットされてしまいます。もう少しスピードを遅くできると、より使いやすいのですが...(公称(12/15/18/20/25)×1000rpm)トルクは弱め(に設定？)ですので、比較的安全に使えると思います。本体・ビット収納部はABS樹脂製ですが、ケースカバーがアルミ合金です。外すときに落下させると危険ですので、要注意です。ユーザマニュアルは日本語対応されていません。(本来、日本向けの商品ではないような)

この商品は筒状のケース部分とマガジン部分との構造になっており、マガジン部分にルーター本体とビットが収納されています。ルーター本体はマグネットでマガジン部分に吸着しているようでプッシュ式の構造にもなっているため本体を軽く押すと引き抜きやすい程度に飛び出てくれます。強く振っても飛び出すため簡単に抜け落ちてしまうとも言えるけれど、個人的にはマガジンから簡単に取り出しやすいと言った感じでした。ビットも同様にマガジン部分にマグネットで吸着しているだけなので振ると脱落するけれど、簡単に取り出しやすく扱いやすいと感じました。ビット収納部分はピストルの回転弾倉のような構造で小気味よくカチカチと回転し、意味もなく何度も回したくなる構造になっています。ビット収納部分の下側も小さくマグネット構造の引き出しになっていて、予備のビットコレットとサンドペーパー、サンドペーパー交換用ドライバーのプレートが収納されています。その他は充電用のUSBタイプC/Aケーブルと取扱説明書(日本語記載はない)が化粧箱に入っています。使い方はルーター先と反対側に電源オン・オフ用の回転スイッチが設けられており、この回転スイッチをONにすることで電源自身はオンになります。ただし、電源をオンにしただけでは回転せず写真の黄色矢印で記した部分を押すことで初めてモーターが回転するようになります。黄色矢印部分は一見、ソフトスイッチのように見えるけれど、実はこの部分だけは押すことができプッシュスイッチ構造になっているようで慣れれば気にならなくなるけれど、初めは回転スイッチをオンするだけではモーターが回転せずしばらく不良品かも知れないと思いながら戸惑いました。仕様上、USBから充電しながらの動作は出来ず回転スイッチがオフの時はUSB充電でき、オンの時はUSB充電が出来ないような構造にしてあるようで、更に回転スイッチをオンにした状態でプッシュスイッチを押すとモーターが回転するような思想で作られているようです。個人的には下手にプッシュスイッチだけでモーターが回転してしまうより安全だと思いました。また、プッシュスイッチはモーターの回転をオンするだけではなく、オンした後はモーターの回転速度を5段階で切替できる機能も兼ねているようです。モーターの回転をオンしたら必ず3速からスタートし、プッシュスイッチを押すたびに3→4→5→1→2→3と言った速度の切替えができる動きになります。充電は充電中はUSBタイプCコネクタ部分のLEDがゆっくり点滅し、満充電になると点灯状態になるようでした。実際に使ってみると確かにモーター音は静かだけれど、回転数が低い感じで個人的には常に最高速の5速だけを使いたくなる感じでした。更に5速でもパワー・トルク感は弱めな感じで少しでも負荷が高くなるとモーターが停止するため、再度プッシュスイッチを押して3速からスタートする必要がありました。慎重にゆっくり少しずつ削る・研磨する使い方が良さそうで、ドリルビットも柔らかめのプラスチックなどを対象にかなり負荷がかからないように使う必要があると思いました。どちらかと言うとパワー・トルクでゴリゴリと使う用途ではなく、繊細な対象物をゆっくり慎重に削る・研磨する用途に向いていると思います。また、モーターへの負荷で比較的に簡単に停止することから安全面への視点でルーターに使い慣れていない子供などに扱わせても良さそうに思いました。ケースを含め扱いやすい商品のため比較的高パワー・高トルクモーターを搭載したプロ仕様向けの商品も期待したいところ。

Only leaving a 3 star because after charging this up fully and trying to turn it on it seems the touch button is not very sensitive and didn't want to turn on or control the speeds. It is working now but wonder if it will become a issue. Will update if I have any problems with this as I use it to buff and polish hubs.

I have like every Fanttik tool available. I was gonna buy a rotary tool to help clean up my 3D prints then they came out with this at the same time. The F2 works really well for what I need to use it for and then some. Took me a little bit to figure out how to get it to turn and I actually thought it was a defective unit, but just a little harder push on the button solved my dilemma. This is a compact unit, I use my Dremel for larger projects.

This is one of the most beautifully designed tools I've ever held in my hands. Like new Apple product beautiful. It's essentially a lightweight rechargeable Dremel tool, but its design brings it to a level that's nearly modern work of art.Start with a gray machined aluminum flattened cylinder on the top of which is an indentation, just calling to be pressed. Once pressed, a cigar-shaped item springs up, and up pops a rotating display case of 30+ attachments, each held in place by magnets on one of three carousels or in one tiny drawer. There are grinding attachments of all sorts, several tiny drill bits, even grinding and sanding discs.Each of these attachments fits into the cigar-shaped aluminum tool that charges with a USB-C cable. The attachments fit into an arbor that, unlike a Dremel, requires no wrench. Around that arbor is an LED light ring.Now for the drawbacks: The cigar shape of the tool means it will roll right off anysurface you set it down on. While I get the cool factor of the tool just being a cylinder, it would be really helpful if it had one flat side -- it would be better for the grip and to combat the annoyance of it rolling off the desk, workbench or counter every time you set it down. Second problem is the power of the tool. It's just not powerful enough to use for much more than very light craft or modeling projects -- it's no subtitute for the power and hardiness of a dremel. But if you're using it for light hobby work or crafting, it might be enough for you -- and you could always use its plethora of attachments in your dremel tool. I also find that with a tool like this -- one that I don't use regularly -- that the rechargable aspect can be hit or miss. On the rare occasion I reach for a rotary tool, I want to be sure it has a full charge and that I don't need to sit there waiting for it to charge. In a case like that, sometimes a plug-in tool can just be better. Last thing, it took me a good hour to figure out how to turn it on -- and, yes, I read the directions. First, you turn the switch to on, and then on the flat area that shows the power level, you press the icon HARD. To me, it looked like a touch-sensitive switch -- perhaps like a dimmer switch where you drag your finger to the proper level. That's not how it works. Press that icon hard and then again to go up in speed, and again and again, until your hard presses max out the speed and it starts to go down in speed -- all indicated by a cool green LED. I seriously thought the tool arrived broken because a hard press was so counterintuitive on something that appears to be solid metal.
