So - how much do I love this cordless screw drive? A LOT!!!! This little dynamo is very powerful. It comes with 12 different tips in a short set and a long set - so actually 24 which will accommodate just about any size screw in any bizarre location. Its small size is misleading. I never imagined it would have so much power and be so useful. It fits in my hand so much better than "normal" screw drivers. And there's a handy corded pouch which makes it easy to carry this around from job to job. The battery charges quickly. Everyone who sees me using this wants one.

This set comes with two capsules, a charging cord and a carrying pouch. The first capsule has extended bits stored inside. The second is the actual screwdriver. The end had a push and pull off cap. Inside the cap is shorter bits. When first starting, you want to fully charge it. There is an indicator light. It will blink while charging but will go solid when completed. The bits are easy to connect to the main capsule. On the side is a button with an arrow facing up and one down. This indicates the direction you want it to go. To fasten a screw in, push up. Down to unfasten. Simple as that. The pouch seemed a bit small but did fit both capsules and the charging cord in it. Though I like the box that came with it and will for the most part, keep it in that. So far, it seems to be powerful enough for my smaller projects. I haven't had any larger projects to stress test it on yet. The downside was, unless I missed something in the directions, I don't know how to completely shut it off. When I went to put it away, I accidentally pushed the button. It will still spin when the cap is on. Another reason I'm going to continue to use the box and not the pouch. In the pouch, it still has the possibility of the button being pushed. 4-stars overall. - easy to use, light to carry, multiple bits to choose from.*Edit addition.... well I took on a bigger project. I have now downgraded the star rating to a 3 star, though I almost want to say it's a 2.5 star. The smoothness of the screwdriver kept me from being able to hold it steady. When it got to a certain point, it started spinning in my hand. I also needed a slower speed to work on a few parts. If it wasn't for me not being able to keep a hold of it, I probably would have stripped a few screws by now. I thought this would be one of my favorite handy dandy tools with all those attachments, especially the Allen wrench bits, but unfortunately it came up short.

I was reading all the specs and reviews about this thing and I got really excited to give it to my husband. I was disappointed that he did not share the same enthusiasm upon receiving it, however. Sad face. It sat in the garage for about 6 weeks before he even acknowledged its existence and touched it. He, for some reason, did NOT want to like it. Finally one day we were putting a bed frame together, and disassembling the old one. We got it done soooo fast. I swear he was so happy about this thing that he actually said out loud “Wow babe this was a really nice gift, thank you!” And he’s used it so much since then, and he always tells me how nice it is. It is significantly more powerful than either of us thought it would be. We hung all the solar lights in the wood fence and done all kinds of stuff with this. Gives you a little more… is dexterity the word? than a typical drill. Really great if you tend to buy things you have to assemble.

This is my third FANTTIK set, and one thing is for sure: they make slick and stylish, high quality electric mini-tools. This S1 Capsule Deluxe is similar, but with a couple issues, I’m afraid. This kit contains two “capsules” (and a very nice cinch bag to carry them in, as well as instructions). The first capsule—which is the rechargeable screwdriver—is 1 1/4” in dia. and 6” long. The second capsule—which contains 12 “long” bits (each 2” long)—is also 1 1/4” in dia. but is just over 5 3/4” long. The first capsule also has 5 short and double-ended bits in its cap.As with my other two FANTTIK sets, I’m very impressed with this one both in terms of form and functionality. You’d be hard pressed to find a more stylish and innovative screwdriver set in this price range. But that doesn’t mean it’s perfect. I have 2 constructive criticisms of this set, the first is minor, the second—unfortunately—is worth the deduction of at least one star.First, it may just be me, but it bugs the heck out of me that the cap of the first capsule does NOT close all the way. In terms of this capsule’s “fit and finish” this just seems like an oversight or a lapse of laziness where the designers relented and said, “Oh well, it’s late, let’s just leave it that way.” I mean, what purpose does that gap serve?! To me, it just seems like unfinished business. The gap should have been closed. More than anything, it doesn’t jibe with FANTTIK’s overall aesthetic.Second, where the first criticism just pertained to my aesthetic sensibilities, the next one regards the tool’s function. (Allow me to go ahead and state here that the second capsule IS pretty much perfect both aesthetically and functionally. It’s the first capsule alone—the screwdriver—that I have issues with.) Notice that the screwdriver capsule has 2 buttons on its side: one for forward, the other for reverse. Notice next what is conspicuously missing, especially from a high-quality electric screwdriver: any type of buttons or slider that controls SPEED. There is no mechanism on this screwdriver by which to control the speed. You can’t slow it down. You can’t speed it back up.Thus, especially for inexperienced users, over-driving the screw (too deeply) or stripping of the screw or even tear out (on the underside of a piece of work) is bound to happen, simply because of the inability to slow the driver down. This is no small mistake, in my view.
