Returned it. Way to big and cumbersome to use. No need for it anyway. I simply disable my key fob every time I leave the car with a couple of simple clicks.

My friend says his buddy's truck was stolen in the late night. He parked his truck outside of a garage. Hackers have a skimmer device that looks for fob signals and can start your car and drive off. This happened. So I store my fob in the case at night. The special lined part of the case and it blocks the signal. You can't start your own car if the fob is in the special lined portion of the case. So I know it's blocking crooks from stealing my car. Thanks.

I love these things. I can carry money and credit cards with me and house key and do not have to take a purse.

These seem to work as advertised. Place the Smart Key in the bag and the bag prevents the car from sensing the proximity of the key. Even placed it close to the receiver in the door to strengthen any possible signal that might escape. No dice. The bag has internal woven metal fabric sack for signal attenuation, but there is a pocket between the metal woven sack and outer (front) layer for placing other regular keys, presumably so as not to scratch the Smart Key while inside. So it is possible to place the Smart Key in the wrong side of the metal sack and defeat the purpose of the bag. Just FYI.

I use this to hold the fob of my Hundai Tuscon, and it really is too large. I've given one to two other people and they have had the same experience, despite the different sizes of their fobs. BUT, it's too small to hold the entire key chain. It's just an odd size. So, I hang it from a hook and then hang my keys from the same hook, dropping just the fob into the pouch. that works well enough, though I still find it a bit inconvenient.
