Pattern layup crinkled on the corners leaving over dyed lines and the surface is very wibbly such that a water glass rocks side to side on it.

This was a big hit as a gift. The colors are vivid, they arrived in good shape, easy to keep clean. They're currently being used as an under-the-coffee-pot tray, catching all those bits of coffee grinds and spills and keeping them off the counter. Also great to use for serving trays.

They resemble porcelain with a strong shine. They have a nice look and I’m pleased with them. They will serve the purpose I bought them for well. Look like they cost a lot more than what I paid for them.

We use these to plate meals in the kitchen then carry to the dining table. Enough room for dinner plate, salad bowl, drinking glass. Easy for the kids to clear the dishes after eating. They replaced our set of vintage woven bamboo/rattan trays that were breaking. These are heavier but have the same dimensions, stack neatly, and are easy to clean. Got a set of 6 and use them every day, love them.

I really like the design on these two trays. My plan was to use them as you would a serving tray -- put plates , bowls, glasses, etc on them to carry stuff out to our patio or are dining table or even use it as a tray to eat in bed. You can do those things; however, you have to be really careful because the surfaces of these trays are textured. They are not flat, and that means that things don't sit flush on the tray and there is always a risk that something will slide off, tip, fall, etc. The manufacturer shows them with food directly on them instead of plates and stuff on the tray. That application would work; however, these are melamine trays, and I prefer to put my food directly on ceramic or glass as it is safer and healthier than plastic. If these trays had been flat, I would have been thrilled because they're attractive and they would have been great for what I needed them for -- so I had to take a star off for that, especially because I don't see any mention of them being textured in the listing.
