This made it a lot easier to melt down my soap base and make my products. It was also very easy to clean and put together. It heats up fairly quickly and makes everything a lot better.

I love the soap melter, just wish it had a temp control nob. Whenever the soap gets down low, you have to watch that it doesn't burn it. I do a goat milk soap base so it's even toucher with that. But I do overall love it and the nozzle doesn't clog. Once it heats up, it melts in the nozzle too and you're good to go.

This soap melter really does melt the soap so quickly. We made over a dozen bars of soap in as little as 10 minutes. Setup is easy and simple and clean up is just as fast. The mold it came with was a little flimsy but great for a basic mold just starting off. We love our lavender soap.

I should have listened to the other reviews on this - the melter only gets hot hot on the bottom so when you go to melt your soap base it simply doesn't melt. The sides at the top are cold, bottom only is hot. I have the smaller version of this (3L) , same brand and love it, and just needed more capacity but this was a waste.

This is so much easier than using pots and pans to make soap! It’s less dangerous since you’re dealing with lye. The soap mold is perfect. Great quality!

I like the fast melt, because it is just as described. I used this to make hand soap, and it has helped me produce more soap than ever before. It has cut my time down, and now I will be able to stock up my soap and focus on other projects. It has been great for expanding my business. I will add two more very soon!

I am not a pro - this is a hobby for me and I just make soap for personal use and gifts but I can't believe I did not know there was such a thing as a bulk melter for melt and pour base! In recent years I have explored cold process because it's much easier for creating soap in bulk, but having to go through the process of measuring chemicals, doing math, playing with a lye calculator, etc. kills both the fun and immediacy of the entire process that you get with melt and pour -- and then you still have to wait to make sure your formula was correct and the soap sets up correctly.THIS IS A GAMECHANGER!!! Previously, with melt and pour, I melted my base in the microwave, and it's just not practical (not sure it's even possible in my microwave) to melt down 2.6 lbs (or more) at one time to make a loaf. Now, it is! I can keep my base at temp and do entire loafs. You're not supposed to mix anything in the urn besides base and maybe I did and maybe I didn't try mixing in scent and color and maybe it turned out just fine - proceed at your own risk. ;) It's actually also great even if you stick with small batches or even singles and want to do a bunch at a time -- it's easy enough to dispense only what you need for 1,2, or more soaps into your measuring cup, mix and pour, quickly clean up your measuring cup and start on the next single or batch with no downtime. This thing is large and it is a bit bulky to clean, but I don't see any way around that as far as design. I haven't ever made candles, so I don't know what the melting point for wax is, but provided it's less than or equal to the melting point of melt and pour, I could see how this would be great for candle makers, as well -- maybe I have a new hobby in the making!
