The red fedora with the pleated satin band is pure elegance! It's small so not too gaudy and doesn't take away from your outfit. It is the perfect compliment. What I really appreciated was the red color. Some hats say red but they don't match other red items. This red hat matches all my red shirts, and shoes exactly. The color is a nice bright red so it is very eye catching. I originally bought this hat for my husband and a different red had for myself, however, since then, this has become my go to hat that I wear when I want to look extra elegant and sexy! Invest in yourself boo! You deserve it. Looks good on men and women!

The hat fit so well, I took a chance and ordered another. This one came in a box! The fedora was still a little pushed in but way better than the one that came in a bag only. I'm giving it 5 stars because the seller seems to have made an effort to improve the packaging. My thanks to The Hatter.

The whole point behind buying this hat was to get something for a teen that really enjoyed watching the Agent Carter television series. The main concern I had was that Agent Carter's hat has a red/white/blue ribbon but this one has a solid red ribbon. When I looked around for Agent Carter cosplay hats, the cost of this hat was phenomenally lower. While I would not have paid what was being asked for hats with the red/white/blue ribbon (4x or 5x the cost of this one), I had no problem taking a chance on this one.I really don't understand sun protection being a rating on this hat. The brim really isn't very wide, but I didn't buy it for sun protection so I don't really care about that.I will say that the wearer was delighted. The color of the ribbon wasn't a detractor for her. The price is such I wouldn't mind getting another if it were to get damaged.Perhaps the manufacturer should take a note and offer a variant with a ribbon similar to the one Agent Carter's hat had on it?A minor detractor might be that the box it came in was such that the hat had a dent in it due to the cramped space. The box appeared to be from the manufacturer as opposed to being one selected by the shipper. The dent wasn't terrible, and appears able to be worked out of the hat,, but it seemed a bit unnecessary to size the box so the fit was that tight. This would not, however, detract from a re-purchase in my opinion.

I did not care for this hat it had a great style it was too large and it look like cardboard I thought I should’ve had a little bit better quality for the price

I'm the kind of guy who likes to have a hat (fedoras mainly) to match each and every outfit. I have two black fedoras, one with an electric blue pinstriping around the base, another with a white Gothic cross and wings, another grey w/ white pinstripes and a skull... you get the idea. With all of those and a few others I had just about every color covered other than red. I've been looking for quite awhile to find a red fedora which didn't have a HUGE band around the base, as the wider that is, the more feminine looking it is. This was the best red fat I've found in a year of looking. The color is perfect. The quality is fair. The fit, well, it's closer to about a 7 1/2-8 size, and I wear a 7 1/8th hat, but I can still wear it, just not with a snug fit (which can become quite the problem when driving on the interstate in a convertible).There's no reason not to recommend the hat. It was well packaged and looks great (much as the wider the band, the more feminine looking the hat, the wider the brim on a fedora, the more feminine looking). The brim is nice and small meaning, if you're wearing lots of red mixed in with your outfit, there's no question it pops, doesn't look "pimp"ish, like I've seen in some other red hats, and most importantly can be pulled off by a confident straight male, despite being other than black or brown. A black band (or the other way around, black hat with a thin red band, or red pinstriping instead of a band) would have been my preference, but I'm yet to see a hat like that.If nothing else, this hat will get you noticed, and where guys are concerned, that's half the battle. The rest is up to you.
