Needed a throttle body gasket and it was expensive and special order. Got this and used an exacto knife and was putting my throttle body back on in 20 minutes with a thin layer of sealant. Feels great knowing I can cut any gasket in the future for a fraction of the price.

Used this to make some gaskets that will get used more than once. Need to test carbs and this will be the temp gasket material until final assembly.

I use this to seal hydraulic surfaces. I cut it using a marking laser and then place the cut gasket between two aluminum parts. This is a great material to work with, cuts nice and holds a good seal. Unlike other cork materials this is rubber impregnated and is much more durable and flexible without cracking or taring.

I tried using this on an oil pan where the gasket is submerged in oil. Oil weeped through the gasket material and started dripping. Probably good for a normal oil pan where the gasket isn't in direct contact with standing oil in the sump.

Used it to make a gasket for the low-fuel sendig unit for my 53 MG TD because nobody makes a replacement. This works perfectly. I called Fel-pro and confirmed that this is rated for use in an application where it's exposed to gasoline.

Thick rubberized cork gasket material. Easy to cut, rugged, will not tear. Note: This same material is available in (2) material thickness. Be sure you know what thickness you need and order accordingly. Very good product.

I used this to make a gasket for a gasoline can. The gas dissolved the binding agent used to hold the cork particles together. Be forewarned.
