This is NOT the mounting gasket, as described, it is the heat shield. Which I needed, but now I need to find the gasket!

This metal gasket goes directly under the carb and the regular gasket goes directly to the manifold. Its supposed to be there, it helps seal carbs and intakes with a little imperfections in milled surfaces. I bet without this metal gasket you have a mysterious vacuum leak. It sealed my carb perfectly!!!.. YOU NEED THIS GASKET!!!

It’s not a gasket it’s a stainless steel insulator plate shaped like a gasket. Would really like a gasket of the correct shape.

Its thin stamped metal - yeah, I know some cheap exhaust gaskets etc are thin cheap metal - but I wanted a qjet gasket made out of paper/gasket material.

Hard to find heat shield for the 69 Rochester Quadrajet manifold with exhaust heat source in the front. Commonly referred to as the "smiley face manifold"This heat shield is used between the manifold gasket below the the optional top gasket, that I always get to seal the carb base.
