I used it for the oil filler neck instead of oil filler cap. They are the same size and worked perfectly!. Silverado 2007 (not classic).

Good quality, however was not correct size for my 2012 Chevy Cruze 1.4L Turbo. Circumference much smaller than original (had to stretch over fitting) and diameter of O ring much larger than original. After installing on cap, the cap would not seat in the opening of valve cover thus not allowing me to secure the engine oil fill cap.

Won't give it a complete bad review because the o-ring did came in good condition and seems like good quality however it didn't fit my 2012 Chevy Cruze as it said it would in the specifications. This one it's definitely thicker and smaller. I didn't want too a bother myself passing for the return process so I just ordered one from "The dorman store" and it fit perfectly I don't have any oil leak problem anymore.

You need to remove the valve cover to take off the filler neck, your OEM oil cap is the same thread as the filler tube so you can throw the tube away and just use the oil cap instead. Less parts is always better just use a funnel when changing oil

Perfect fit on my 2000 Chevy Silverado 5.3. There is some resistance when I twist on the cap, so now I know it is sealing.
