I've been using Fel-Pro gaskets for years. I've never had a with their gaskets. The prices are usually not bad either. Gaskets fit in without falling out or having to use adhesive spray or gasket maker. Remove the upper intake manifold to change plugs and coils. Thanks to Ford had to remove the lower intake manifold to change the PCV valve. Figured while I had everything off I might as well clean the throttle body in the EGR valve.

My 01 Mazda Tribute (with the Duratec 30 V6) had a rough idle issue when cold. This issue disappeared when the car warmed up. After some research, I concluded that it was the intake manifold gaskets. Taking off and installing these new ones were a breeze. You will need to remove less than 20 bolts to get to where you need to be. After putting them in, the car still idled rough. However, it disappeared the next day. I believe it just needed some time to sit properly in the intake manifold, but I don't consider that an issue. The Mazda Tribute ran smooth, got better mpg (it was burning fuel at a rate of 10mpg before this) and I did not have to worry about the stalling caused by the idle dropping.I would highly recommend you get this product from Amazon as their price was hard to beat, also it arrived the next day.

I was replacing my spark plugs and wanted to replace my gaskets at the same time. I got this kit and I was extremely happy with it. They were very durable and fit perfectly for my 04 escape. If you are replacing your spark plugs like I did spend the extra 10-15 mins to replace the lower manifold gaskets. I also replaced my valve cover gaskets as well.
