Due to the already narrow profile of 8v vw engines and fel-pro's ultra cheap style of gasket which consists of multiple layers of thin aluminum with many unnecessary perforations in every layer, this gasket will not make a seal. I tried one that was completely dry and a second one with high temp copper spray gasket sealant. Both methods yielded the exact same result, an exhaust leak at all four (yes, 4) exhaust ports.THAT IS A %100 FAILURE RATE!!!FEL-PRO USEDTO BE THE GO TO FOR ANY GASKET, AND THEN THEY WERE THE GO TO FOR DOMESTIC MODELS AND NOW IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT VEHICLE YOU NEED PARTS FOR, FEL-PRO IS SURE TO SELL YOU A GASKET THAT WILL FAIL IMMEDIATELY!!!You owe me $44 plus labor!

Its felpro, I have never had an issue with Felpro, one of the best, if not the best gasket maker in the world. This one was no exception, it worked perfectly

Buyer beware, this "gasket set" only contains 1 of the 6 gaskets required.Complete scam.
