When I changed my timing belt, I change the oil pump gasket included with the other brandname kit. UGH!!! Oil was RUNNING out, not dripping but in a stream. I had to have the car running, so I gobbed it with Permatex for a temporary fix and kept refilling with oil.Bought this kit, took the car all apart again (pain in the rear, let me tell you) and replaced the oil pump gasket; no more leak. at all. very happy. Bought the FelPro valve cover gasket as well. Now no drips at all.I am NOT compensated in any way for this review - I bought it to use it myself.

I gave it to my mechanic will a new timing belt and a bunch of other parts, seals, etc. I hope he enjoyed it. I don't know if he actually used anything from this kit, but I wanted to demonstrate that I'm cooperative.Amazon was good to boldly display whether parts are compatible with my 1999 Camry.Now that I got a new timing belt, I think I'll have anti-lock brakes added.New timing belt was an opportunity to get a new camshaft seal and a new crankshaft seal. This kit only has one. Getting the other one separately cost another $5.18 year old car only has 100k miles. Mechanic said "age" was no reason to replace the oil pump, only "miles." So I didn't get an oil pump.

Fixed my massive oil leak on my 1990 toyota celica GT with the 5sfe and should fit all other 5sfe powered toyotas such as camrys. Installation is not for the faint of heart and I highly recommend replacing the timing belt and water pump while in there

I originally needed just the thin spaghetti-like gasket but the price for this kit was about the same as that item alone, so I bought this kit. As it turned out, I ended up needing all the items because as I was reinstalling the oil pump, I broke a bolt. All items fit perfectly. No more leaks. Car was a 2000 Camry I4.

Fel-Pro Best Gaskets for these pumps and seals. Higher recommend them to anyone. Stay away fro Dorman they come not even in the shape of the area that they need to be put into, these were perfect made my job soooo much easier. I will buy Fel-Pro first anytime I have the need to replace a gasket.DIY favorite

This set is fine . . . as far as it goes. The only problem is that this so-called timing cover gasket set does not contain a timing cover gasket. All you get are the oil pump seals and a crank seal, none of which have anything to do with the timing cover. Thanks to both Fel-Pro and Amazon for deceptively naming and advertising this product. If you buy it, you'll find yourself having to go somewhere else to buy the gasket you were expecting . . . a royal pain in the wallet and elsewhere.
